Is there trouble in paradise for Gossip Girl co-stars and lovebirds Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick? They're still together, but things are tense, a source says.

During a recent rough patch, Jessica’s been unable to hide her emotions on set, according to a crew member who's seen her in tears in her dressing room.

Making matters worse, Ed doesn’t seem concerned with her feelings.

On January 29, the actor and a male friend were seen entertaining two ladies at the Melrose Bar & Grill in LA - and Jessica Szohr was nowhere in sight.

“It looked like he was on a double date,” says an onlooker, and according to an eyewitness, Ed and a friend took off with two girls after dinner in LA.

Bear in mind this is according to In Touch Weekly. It could be exaggerated or plain untrue. Still, we pass it along to you because that's what we do ...

Is it over for Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr? Is it just a rough patch they'll get through? Is any of this even true? All we can do is wait and see!

Tonight's Gossip Girl repeat, at its special Wednesday repeat time (the show moves back to its traditional Monday slot with 10 new episodes beginning March 8), is the threesome-rific "They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They?"

Rapper 50 Cent was recently a bit surprised, and more than a little humbled by Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford getting more attention from the ladies than he.

50 recalled the scene on the NYC set of their flick, Twelve.

"I made a fool of myself the first day of shooting," he told the New York Daily News. "I got to my trailer and I saw this huge crowd of girls screaming."

"I stopped and was kind of having a moment. Then I turned around, and Chace Crawford was behind me, and that's who they were freaking out for."

At least Fitty has a sense of humor about playing second fiddle to Chace. Laughs the rapper: "I remember thinking, 'What kind of bull$h!t is this?'"

Even 50 Cent can't compete with the man-bangs!

She's not really a Gossip Girl cast member, although she is often heard (if not seen) on the show. Kristen Bell, a.k.a. Gossip Girl herself, got engaged recently!

Actor Dax Shepard is the future Mr. Gossip Girl.

He proposed over the holidays and Bell debuted her ring on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards Sunday night. They work well together, don't you think?

The cute couple has been together two years.

Gossip Girl narrator Kristen Bell is engaged to Dax Shepard.

The When in Rome actress and Gossip Girl narrator recently detailed what her perfect date night with Dax is like in November's issue of Women's Health.

"There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax and my girlfriends," she said.

Sounds like a surprisingly normal relationship built to last! Congratulations to the happy couple. We just hope Gossip Girl doesn't go soft on us now ...

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen is not a role model.

She's said so herself, claiming it's not why she got into show business. But she does have legions of young fans who look up to her, and may be pushing it here.

The 16-year-old was spotted puffing on a cigarette on the New York City set of the show last week, much to the dismay of some fans and anti-smoking activists.

"She really has an extra responsibility to bear as an actress idolized by little girls," said Patrick Reynolds, director of the Foundation for a Smoke-Free America.

"For her to be smoking sends the wrong message to kids. Evidence has shown us that stars, particularly younger ones, definitely do influence kids to smoke."

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick is either unaware of the gossip buzz he creates in real life or simply doesn't care. Because when the man's gotta go, he's gotta go!

“There was an outside area at the party and only two porta-potties,” an eyewitness at a recent party Ed attended said. You can likely see where this is going.

“When Ed saw the huge, long line, he said ‘f*** this,’ jumped over a wall and peed in a bush. You could see him standing there with his back to everyone.”

“Everyone was quite impressed with his balls,” the witness says ... probably not meaning that literally. “He was just standing there in front of everyone."

Everyone included True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, along with Kate Bosworth, Ashley Olsen and other celebs. Hey, he's his own man!

Ed Westwick is gonna be Ed Westwick, no matter what!
