Gossip Girl Fashion Breakdown: Blake Lively

Serena van der Woodsen is a glamorous, connected rich girl in Manhattan who doesn't follow the hippest fashion trends: she sets them.

TrendsetterThe Beautiful Blake

Gossip Girl's Serena van der Woodsen and real life alter ego Blake Lively.

What would an "It" girl be without a funky wardrobe? Serena van der Woodsen, who artfully mixes leopard print with green velvet and blue suede ankle boots, is certainly no exception to that fashion rule.

Unlike the boho trend-setter she plays on TV, Blake Lively, 20, often opts for classic with a twist off-screen, donning clothes like these skinny black jeans, crisp white blouse and funky red pumps.

Which look do you like better?
