One of the highlights of Monday’s “Gossip Girl Revealed” special was the out-take segment at the end. This funny collection of bloopers features funny moments from Leighton Meester, Matthew Settle, Ed Westwick and the rest of the gang that didn’t make it on air … for good reason.
Our favorite is the botched Nate-Blair elevator makeout scene.
Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Chace Crawford kept it classic at Old Navy’s Celebration of “New Year, New Old Navy” Thursday at NYC’s Eyebeam Atelier (a not-for-profit arts and technology center).

At least we still get to see them on occasion even with the Gossip Girl season on hold. Follow this link for more photos of Blake and Chace.

Taylor Momsen
Sophia Bush, Natasha Bedingfield and Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen really know how to sell a product - the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 - during a launch party for the phone Tuesday at the IAC Building in New York.

Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) has her eyes on the prize.
Natasha Bedingfield, of course, is a popular young British singer. Just like Taylor Momsen, Sophia Bush stars on a CW hit series - One Tree Hill - and is responsible for no small amount of cheesy quotes. But we love ‘em.

Gossip Girl News
Who cares about the State of the Union? Well, lots of people… but not the CW! At least not when there are more important things to show you, like the debut of Gossip Girl in its Monday slot.
If you’re only into clothes and boys and drugs and sex like Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), do you really care about subprime lending? No way.
Monday, the network took us back into the world of the rich and privileged with a re-airing of the pilot episode of Gossip Girl.
Monday’s special re-broadcasting, entitled “Gossip Girl Revealed,” ran 91 minutes, beginning at 8 p.m. Interspersed within the pilot were bonus features, including cast interviews and commentary, and deleted scenes.

Gossip Girl girls: Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen.
There were also cool profiles of the characters, as well as info about the fashions and Gossip Girl music used on the show for all those aspiring to be the next “it” girl or guy.
In this age, it makes sense for the CW to be promoting its best freshman show with new clips on a new night. Maybe the writers’ strike will even be resolved and give us new episodes.
Don’t hold your breath, but we can hope.

Episode Guides
The writers’ strike appears to have cut the first season of Gossip Girl short, but at least we have repeats. Last night’s “Dare Devil” was certainly good the second time around - even with the absence of Chuck and Nate.
Miss the episode? Wanna refresh your memory of it? Check out our recap now. Our lists of Gossip Girl quotes and pictures from “Dare Devil,” as well as our music guide, should complete your viewing experience.
There’s also our staff round table discussion, and the opportunity to talk about the show with fellow fans in our Gossip Girl forum.

Best date ever.

Blake Lively
Blake Lively was spotted at the Valentino fashion show, as part of Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2008 on Wednesday in Paris, France.
The 20-year-old Gossip Girl star is the cover girl for the March 2008 issue of Teen Vogue. Whether or not she’s feuding with Leighton Meester or dating Penn Badgley, you never see Blake without a smile on her face!

Blake Lively shines in Paris… like everywhere else.

Gossip Girl’s possible real-life couple, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, were spotted smooching while shopping on 5th Ave. Saturday.
That’s according to the New York Daily News, which also reports that before the writers strike shut down production, things had gotten quite clique-y on the set of the sexy freshman CW hit.
Also, if you don’t want to know the identity (at least according to the Daily News) of the title character — an unseen narrator voiced by Kristen Bell — the mother of all Gossip Girl spoilers (which we don’t believe) lies ahead.

“Leighton Meester and Blake Lively avoid each other like the plague while castmates choose sides,” says a snitch on the set.
NOTE: Blake Lively denies this in the new Teen Vogue.
“Chace Crawford tends to stick close to Leighton, while Penn Badgley hangs on and offscreen with Blake,” the spy said. “The crew will snag Blake for a scene just moments before it is shot so they can avoid any awkwardness with Leighton.”
If that’s true, it’s so high school!
And as for the Gossip Girl spoiler about the title character’s identity?
“Since the writers’ strike, the team hasn’t decided how or when to reveal who Gossip Girl is, but it is Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo).”
So Gossip Girl is really Gossip Guy? Come on.
What do you think?

Blake Lively
Blake Lively is the March 2008 cover girl for Teen Vogue! Here are some of the interview excerpts from the Gossip Girl star …
On her rumored romance with co-star and on-screen boyfriend Penn Badgley: “I try not to talk about my dating like I want to, but once you start, it’s all downhill from there.”
On trying to be sexy during Gossip Girl: “In one scene, I was totally falling off the barstool (making out with Chace Crawford). I was trying to be sexy. So I think, ‘what would Britney Spears do?’ So I whished around my hair.”
On those rumors of Gossip Girl on-set strife: “There is always going to be drama on set, but it’s just not true that Leighton Meester and I dislike each other.”
On her older brother, an actor and model, sending some of her pictures to his agency: “I played along and did a few auditions. After eight weeks, I got my role in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
On not wanting to act as a child: “I actually wanted to be an interior decorator. Baking and flower arranging have always been my favorite hobbies. I love Martha Stewart.”

Forget the revenge Blair is sure to inflict on those that have wronged her when Gossip Girl returns with new episodes.
What about the hot rumors away from the set? Most notably: Is Blake Lively really dating Penn Badgley? The gorgeous actress addressed such talk with People magazine last night.
“Everybody always tries to dig into your personal life or create things that aren’t there… It’s silly,” Lively told the publication at the Chanel Fine Jewelry event on Wednesday night. “Any male friend is obviously a ‘romance alert’ [for the media], but I’ve always been friends with boys my whole life. ”

Blake Lively says her and Penn Badgley are not dating. But didn’t Heroes stars Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere also deny a romance for months?
Lively added that she tries to ignore the paparazzi.
“[I] just try not to listen to what people say,” the portrayer of Serena said. “At least for me it’s important – because I’m so close with my family and my friends – to keep core people around me that know the truth about everything.”
Gossip Girl will air new episodes again in 2008. We promise.
And when it does, a pretty new face may be part of the cast: Russin model/actress Eliska Sursova is in talks to join the series. She’d portray a love interest for Chuck Bass, which is intriguing.
We didn’t know Chuck was capable of love.

Sursova was born on Valentine’s Day, 1988, in Manhattan. Previous television appearances have included guest starring stints on House, Boston Public and ER.
