Gossip Girl's possible real-life couple, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, were spotted smooching while shopping on 5th Ave. Saturday.
That's according to the New York Daily News, which also reports that before the writers strike shut down production, things had gotten quite clique-y on the set of the sexy freshman CW hit.
Also, if you don't want to know the identity (at least according to the Daily News) of the title character an unseen narrator voiced by Kristen Bell the mother of all Gossip Girl spoilers (which we don't believe) lies ahead.
"Leighton Meester and Blake Lively avoid each other like the plague while castmates choose sides," says a snitch on the set.
NOTE: Blake Lively denies this in the new Teen Vogue.
"Chace Crawford tends to stick close to Leighton, while Penn Badgley hangs on and offscreen with Blake," the spy said. "The crew will snag Blake for a scene just moments before it is shot so they can avoid any awkwardness with Leighton."
If that's true, it's so high school!
And as for the Gossip Girl spoiler about the title character's identity?
"Since the writers' strike, the team hasn't decided how or when to reveal who Gossip Girl is, but it is Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo)."
So Gossip Girl is really Gossip Guy? Come on.

why would they have a girl voice gg if it was really a guy??
and why would eric want to be that involved in his sisters
life..a bit odd?? and gg was never revealed in the books, why
now, the characters don't seem to care about gg one way or
another?
it's a little to early in the shows career to have fueds on
set

if it's eric, then he's such a gay! nothing wrong to be gay,
but he and jenny had a little flirt, right? I sure doubt about
eric being gossip girl, i'm sure it's a girl. i mean, how
often does a guy talkes about things in the way that the GG
does? not often i'll tell you! It's a girl for God sake!

There is no way that Eric is Gossip Girl, In truth no one is
Gossip Girl... It was never revealed in the books. I actually
remember reading a posting on a web forum by the author before
the series started on tv that Gossip Girl wasn't ever going to
be revealed as one of the main characters. Gossip Girl is her
own character and will forever stay anonymous.
That being said the tv series is very different from the book
series so I suppose if they want to reveal Gossip Girl they
could choose any character they want. I kinda hope that if
they do decide to reveal her they make it a whole new character
with Kristen Bell in the roll. She would be awesome.
