I have read loads of spoilers and comments from different people. and as much as it apins me to say it, I think it is eric! Everyone keeps saying he has to be gay if he is GG and it has been revealed that one of the male characters is gay! Also remember in 'Dare devil' when jenny goes to help eric escape, and she walks into the room and he is on his laptop and closes it as soon as she walks in! I think it might be eric, although I'm not sure I want it to be him.
I would prefer it to be Jenny, but then again how would she know all this stuff that is published by gg?

I think that GG is Eric because he is gay and he has access to all insider information. Maybe he is tired of the hypocrisy and hiding and that's why he does the GG... and maybe that is why he wanted to coomit suicide.

from the books. In the books he is off at college, but in the show he is there to witness it all.

I think that seeing as I have heard all these rumours that Eric van der Woodsen is gay, it's possible that he is GG but I agree that it would totally ruin it. I would have thought that they'd have maybe let us know who GG is in the second last episode of the last season that they were going to do of it... although I guess it's hard to know.

How could Eric even be GG? Unless he's a total sociopath, he would have had to betray his sister on countless occasions (pregnancy rumors, Yale acceptance, etc). Not to mention outing his mom's dark secret, his best friend Jenny's, his step-brother Chuck he obviously idolizes. And would someone recovering from a suicide attempt and clinical depression really be keeping up with the gossip from a treatment center? If the writers pick Eric they have no interest in character development or continuity. And I will stop watching.
