I really don't like that idea. Jenny is a great character and all, just not enough to take over the show and end Gossip Girl? What kind of crack are they on? They simply cannot do that. If Blair and Serena weren't in the show anymore I'd actually kill myself. Especially Blair. A show with Jenny and no Blair isn't a show worth playing or recording. I'm sorry, but Jenny is just a little not so important character in Gossip Girl. Making it about her would ruin absolutely everything. Ugh.. They better not do that! Blair and Serena are the reasons I watch the show!

Hey,
I think it could be a good idea with a spin off with jennys character BUT not at the same school. If you read ItGirl you know, it is also a great book about jenny. But in ItGirl jenny is at waverly university...so it could be good if it is not at constance billard, because there are blair and serena and jenny could never get her own personality as in ItGirl...
But at first they beter not do that until Gossip Girl has its finale...when none of us watch GossipGirl anymore, cause it has already ended, we can watch jennys show...

Hmm... I don't think it's a bad idea. But I don't want my beloved series to go away and just focus on Jenny Humphrey. [Side Note: Euuurgh.] They should make a new show probably? I'm not saying it's a bad idea. The spin-off idea is, though.

Um...Well, I'd hate the idea if Jenny is still a regular on gossip girl...She's my least favorite character anyways. And I DO NOT want her pulling the attention away from the characters that are more important (meaning Chuck, Blair, Serena, Nate, Dan etc.) But, if she were to ever leave the show all together, I'd be open to the idea. I'd probably not really care to watch every episode, though. But maybe I would...Who knows? But if she's going to do another show I'd want her off the Gossip Girl. And starting over at a new school sounds ideal: That way she's away from all the other important characters. But if they decide to do this, it better not cut into Gossip Girl's ratings!

No Jenny isn't a strong enough character I don't like her anyways Blair and all the other characters have strong personalities and interesting ones that is why I LOVE gossip girl but if they would end it that would ruin everything and I sure wouldn't ever watch a show of just Jenny ever!

Nooo... please, i mean, if there's a spin off then GG will be over, and im sorry, but if the spin off causes that, id be so mad i wouldnt even watch it. Neither would most people. Besides, it sounds too much like an older copy of Zoey101... please, just keep the original GG!! I love it and so does everyone that the producers would be aiming the spin off at, so itd just be a total flop because all the real GG fans would hate it for ending it... if you see what I mean?
Basically, BAD idea...

Never gonna work. Taylor Momsen is cute, but I would never watch her show. Let's face it, we breath for Blair, Chuck, Serena, Dan, Rufus and Lily. Who cares for Jenny?

i dont like that idea... jenny is not an important character and honestly.. not a lot of people care for her. those episodes where she was competing with blair nearly bore me to death. serena and dan are the interesting people in the show, have a separate show for just them! haha but seriously that jenny show wouldnt work.

Laure is right! According to Perez Hilton (the blogger NOT Paris Hilton the celebrity, for those of you who don't know) this rumor has been denied by the show's writer. That means no spin-off (as of now)YAY!

spin off might be cool...but it might not be. i dont think it could possibly live up to the amazing drama of original gossip girl. plus i dont think taylor portrays jenny very well...she seems too bland and boring...

okay so.
the spin-off books are awesome and it would be a great idea as long as they got somebody that was CLOSE to the books. The original jenny has brown curly hair, is short and big-boobed. If you brought a different girl on, it would be much much better!

i like the idea about 'it girl' being a real show, but Taylor is just not the right girl, she's just not 'it' . The books are just great, but if the spin-off show keep continue to used Taylor as Jenny, I wouldn't want to watch it.

yah i think its a good idea whoever said it should be thrown away obviously hasn't read the book the it girl bassed off gossip girl. its like better than gossip girl and i think its a really good idea :)
i think that girl taylor would be a good character and it would seem really weird if she didn't play it!

mkayy people are saying that they want blair to be the main character because shes mean but if you read the fucking book the it girl you wold notice that these bitches are even better than blair and people are like ohh well who cares about jenny. i think it would be really good if they got another character who actually looked like the character in the book

I want Blair to keep been one of the main characters because she is really good at acting and knows how to bring out a good interesting personality and I don't care for any other show they have in mind or some it girl book I just LOVE how Josh is making the show gossip girl with these characters but jenny isn't interesting.

Personally, I like The It Girl books better than the Gossip Girl books. I think it would be great as a show, but Taylor isn't the right actor to play the part. She doesn't even act or look like Jenny is supposed to. If they are considering making a show for it, then they should pick another girl. But it's not a stupid idea. For those who read the books, they would know that.

i agree with the spin-off...Jenny is great..i started to like her in this second season of gossip girl..i really dislike her in season 1 where she became a wanabe..i love her in such a way that she's working really hard to achieve her dream!! she looks hot with her new hairstyle and i love it..
but even if there's a spin off i would still love gossip girl..i love serena's lovelife with dan and Blair's lovelife with Chuck
