Dan has a new female admirer - until Blair Waldorf has something to say about that. Also, Nate tries to figure out what's up with Vanessa, and Chuck is... well, Chuck.

My son knew he needed to stop smoking. He'd just seen his father die at 38 from lung cancer. That was the spark that made him realize that smoking could literally kill him. Unfortunately, every time he tried to stop, he would yield to temptation within a few days. I looked at using a nicotine patch and nicotine gum, but didn't want him to use either. For me, it seemed silly to take the same substance that causes the addiction - nicotine.

How crazy was that? I was super annoyed with that Amanda girl - Uggh what was Dan thinking. I mean even though she was a plant, ridiculous that he even fell for that. Marcus is such a douche! Getting pissed off at Blair and then hooking up with Slutty Dearest...Not cool. Vaness sure screwed that one up though! And Oh Rufus! Will you ever learn? I mean - ew if it did happen, that double standard like Cher and Josh in Clueless, but come on. Even still without all this desire and tension, our show would be lame. I still say Dan and Serena forever!

LovemesomeGG: I agree, a hundred percent. Chuck Bass is the smartest person on the show, and people underestimate him all the time (or only see what's on the surface). He never does anything without a purpose, he understands human nature perfectly and knows each of his friends well. So well actually, that he uses their strengths and weaknesses for his own plans and manages to control everything without announcing his involvement. His scheming is always well thought-out and impeccably carried out, and he is the most honest person, if bluntly so, on the show. I love him because he is no one but Chuck Bass.

OMFG!! def. best episode so far!! I swear the part where Serena turns and tells her posse, "Never again, everything goes through me now" is not only the best line ever from her but it gave me goosebumps!! Queen Serena is soooooo back!! and hold on tight, cause there will def. be a Blair Wladorf earthquake in the upper east side, and I cannot wait!

I thought this was a good episode. I also think that Vanessa is a fucking moron for screwing things up by not listening to Blair. Like seriously, who the hell does she think she is?! BLAIR SAID TO NOT TO DO ANYTHING. FUCKING HELL. I officially hate Vanessa. The only way for me to like her again is if she shaves her head or something.
And like, I'm glad Dan is like a huge reject now because to be honest I never liked that guy. Fucking hell.

OMG!!! is this the best episode or what??? the whole serena "queen bitch" scene and the way she acts with blair when they come to school... i am soo excited that this has taken a good turn.. seeing serena as the real nice girl has been boring... i loved the books.. i read the whole series like 2-4 times.. and they totaly changed serena's charcter in the show.. but now it got so effin intersting.. cant wait for the next episode!! i feel sorry for dan tho!

I loved this episode but Blair definitely didn't deserve to be treated that way Serena was like in her face and shoving the "I'm the new QUEEN look" down Blair's throat. In the past when Blair said some bad stuff about Serena there was a REAL reason (although it's not quite entirely Serena's fault-like in the photo shoot) This time around Blair was too busy helping her friends and taking care of the lord and duchess and just when she came back she's dethroned for no reason at all just because Dan is a JERK!!!

Great episode last night...I feel bad for dan though and blair kinda...anyways I was shocked about the whole cathrine and marcus thing...can't wait till next monday...I just love this show and I love Chuck :)
