Gossip Girl Episode Guide: "Bonfire of the Vanity"
In last night's episode, "Bonfire of the Vanity," Blair grew to like Eleanor's new boyfriend Cyrus, although that may change now that he's moving in. Jenny's plans to break away from Agnes went up in flames (literally), while Serena agreed to an open relationship with Aaron and Dan set out to dig up dirt on Bart, with interesting results.

This had to be the lamest GG I've seen yet. NOTHING remotely saucy happened. But I guess they're saving it for the upcoming funeral one. No Blair and Chuck!!! PS I'm still not buying Aaron, and Serena's letting him walk all over her isn't helping.

i have a couple problems with this episode mainly with the entire humphrey family. D, where do i begin with this kid... he just keeps getting lamer since he broke up with S. Although honorable to not write the story about the Basses, at least take the bribe so you can pay for Yale..little J although your clothes are ugly had several opportunites to grab the clothes back from agnes and/or jack her in the face. and im sick of seeing her walk around with her luggage and sewing machine crying...you left home deal with it.

Does anyone know the name of the song that is playing towards the end when when Blair and Cyrus walk up the stairs to go back in the building?
I think the lyrics are something like " i've been in this town for 13 year, i've been around"
I can get this song out of my head.

I liked the episode. If every episode were about Blair and Chuck's drama, it would get boring very soon. Aaron...well I don't like him but I do presume that he is in the show for a reason. Jenny is doing one idiotical thing after another but soon she will return home and to school. Dan was actually interesting for a while but it was nice thing that he send his story about Chuck to Bart. Chuck's and Bart's relationship was interesting to see. It had its minuses and pluses but it was ok. Not the best but the worst episode yet in the second season.

WHY WAS CHUCK NOT AT B'S PARTY???
November 11th, 2008 2:07 PM
Yes,I was a little disappointed by that too. I thought Chuck would of at least phoned her or sent a gift. Writer's didn't think about that one obviously.
