Gossip Girl Fashion Breakdown: "Bonfire of the Vanity"
Last night's episode of Gossip Girl, "Bonfire of the Vanity," gave us not only Jenny's story line, but plenty of eye-opening fashion material to discuss.
Below, our Gossip Girl fashion contributor, the fabulous Liza L., breaks down the episode, telling us where we can get some of its amazing looks ...

What could be more stylish on the Upper East Side than the birthday of the Queen B herself? Perhaps only the preparation to this magnificent event.
Probably you all noticed it before, but it is never late to state the following fact – Blair loves Marc Jacobs. Don’t believe me? Here’s the evidence:
Another preppy outfit, with a pink twist, both on skirt and shirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs Bright Plaid Skirt ($328, here), Alice & Olivia Ruffle-Front Ombre Tee ($198, here), and the dress in the same pattern – Marc by Marc Jacobs Scribble Houndstooth dress ($460, here).
While scheming against Cyrus, Blair needs to wear something special, but classy: Cynthia Steffe skirt ($105, here) and top (here), and Manolo Blahnik shoes (here).
Meanwhile, Serena (with THE bag of the episode) tries out the (technologically) carefree relationship with Aaron (here), Miu Miu Nappa Patch Tote ($1,572, here) and Edun Althea Sleevles Top ($215, here), jacket Gryphon (here).
My favorite dress of the episode was worn by Blair – a gorgeous Alice & Olivia Women’s Ombre Combo Trellis Print Dress ($440, here).
The party outfits were absolutely stunning – Blair in Bill Blass Flamenco Backless Blouse ($1,990, here) and Serena in Armani dress (similar, $269, here) were definitely the Gossip Girl fashion highlight of this particular episode.
Also, in Aaron's studio, Serena wore an Alexis Bittar Gray Baguette Necklace ($113, here).

can someone tell me where to find that coat Serena's wearing in the last scene with Aaron. She was wearing it also on the pilot episode as well.

Blair's party outfit was gorgeous especially with her hair like that.
The GG stylist people should put her hair up like that more often, it really suits her.

i love ALL of Blair's outfits. The Alice + Olivia Women's Ombre Combo Trellis Print Dress was THE best dress for me too.
but the other outfit that TIES at the top for me was the lovely dress Blair wore when she first met Cyrus, wherein she was reprimanding Dorota with not putting out the Auberge. Do u happen to know who made that dress? Blair looked very beautiful in it. Thanks!

In one of the episodes Blair is standing on the steps and you can clearly see her necklace. It is her initials BW. Who makes that necklace? I would love it with my initials!
