The upcoming funeral (and subsequent death poll) on Gossip Girl has resulted in great speculation and varying opinions among fans of the hit series.

I wondered for ahwile if it would be Vanessa in the end and all the other "hints" were just to throw us off. Chuck's obvious agitation in these photos however seem to confirm it will be Bart who takes his final bow.

Im kinda thinking Nate's Dad is the one to die. I dont know though, Bart Bass seems like he has a good chance too =)

Dan told Serena about why Bart is treating Chuck the way he does--because he's the reason his mom died. Serena thought that maybe a little visit to his mom's tomb and a few words of wisdom can make Chuck feel a little better and less guilty.

You just know its Bart....like everyone else is saying 'why would Chuck be so upset?' but as long as Blair is their to comfort Chuck....he has nothing to worry about!! XD

It'll be Serena's idea, inspired by Lily's way of telling Serena that it's not her fault the addict died. That's why Chuck is arguing with Serena and Dan. About the spoiler, it's just the show's way to lead you off the real thing. It's a cemetery, it's not an odd place to see a hearse.

and yes, it's definitely bart, all hints add up to it. love the picture of chuck and blair walking away together. i have high hopes that bart's death with lead to them reuniting.

From the expresion on Chuck's face and the dispute between he and Serena I would say defenately Bart. Just to saw us how more bad boy Chuck can be.

It was the "Next week on Gossip Girl" segment at the end of the show last night. And is they shoot 3 - 4 weeks ahead, then filming a funeral now would make sense, and why Bart is in upcoming episodes. I also think Serena yelling at (my beloved)Chuck in the cemetary had everything to do with her Mom suddenly becoming a Widow...
Arianne - it's a funeral, not group therapy. The G.G. "people" already stated that a character would be dying in an upcoming episode.
And once again, it's Bart...

These pictures obviously imply Bart Bass. For the simple fact that Chuck is in complete turmoil (you can see it in every photo) Of all the choices of who it could be... who is the only one that would make him that agitated.

I wonder how he dies and i've Serena has anything to do with it...
Maybe that's why Chuck is mad.
We will have te wait and see. What we do know is that there will be some sirt about Bart in the show maybe that will leed to his dead...

Chuck doesn't tell his dad he'll kill him!
in the promo for next ep he says "if you use this against my father i'll destroy you!" (or something along those lines) and he's clearly talking to dan.It's probably related to the article dan writting about bart, pretty sure chuck's trying to protect his dad!
bart's the one dying, no doubt about that!

I read the sides of the link Anna; OMG poor Chuck I like him so much, this is gonna be an ordeal for him! And what about Lily??? I hope she won't be with Rufus so early after Bart's death, that would kill me! and I wonder how Bart actually died??
