Gossip Girl Spoilers: Lily & Rufus, a Hot New Teacher & More

Q: Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl! Please dish now!
A: As you know, young Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey were adorable and in love, but they didn't end up together. Why? The CW declined to comment, and Warner Brothers insists "There is nothing to confirm," but I'm told ... I’m told there is a Gossip Girl webisode series in the works that will explain what really happened to Lily and Rufus when they were 19, and we'll see the ramifications in the present day. From what I can tell it has to do with Lily's time in the sanitorium, but her confinement bears no resemblance to the reason for Eric van der Woodsen's institutionalization. If Lily was crazy back then, it was only because of hormones and hunger. Thoughts?
Q: What can you tell us about the Gossip Girl death. Is it Bart?
A: That's not a bad guess! Examine these two interesting facts:
- Something clears the way for a Lily and Rufus reunion.
- Jack Bass (30-year-old brother of Bart) comes into the picture and tries to take over the company.
By the way, I'm told that the funeral episode, "O Brother, Where Bart Thou," which airs December 8, is one of the best episodes of the series and will leave you sobbing.
Q: On Gossip Girl, who is the new hot teacher? And who will she hook up with?
A: They still haven't cast her. (Lauren Graham, Rebecca Romijn, send your resumes!) But I'm told she will be a significant part and will be young, so she likely will be sinking her cougar claws into some hot young boy toy on the Upper East Side.
Q: Do you know where I can get Serena's outfit from the Thanksgiving episode of Gossip Girl?
A: I don't, and if I did I wouldn't tell you, mostly because no one outside of Blake Lively can pull off a skirt that short!

well the bart thing is for sure confirmed from several sources i've read.
the rufus/lily failure is definately the opener for Dan/Serena relationship again. because seriously otherwise it would be just weird.
and the hot teacher will likely be for chuck or nate. which means broken hearts for the other 3 girls. J.B and V.

haha.. the hot new teacher for Dan? wow!! thats a new twist! and i really hope serena and dan will be together again. the ratings are going down.. 2.88 mil for last episodes, and it has been declining since Aaron Rose was introduce!

I think it's Nates dad, not Bart Bass. Lily and Rufus will have a chance when Bart finds out more about her crazy days.

I hope that hot new teacher is for Dan. That would be a nice twist and it would be interesting to see him in a rather compromising situation. I mean, everybody else at least had one or two but Dan's story is getting little bit boring. Let's get a judgemental boy a hot teacher to bang. :)

I also think the new hot teacher will be for Dan, Nate has already had an affair with Catherine, that would not be new for him, whereas Dan aka "a judging breakfast club member" (with V of course!) has to experience something different and taboo for once!

I kind of hope GG has everyone fooled and that it will be someone totally unexpected that dies. Of course, I'm sure it will be Bart in the end, but wouldn't it be great if they'd planted all of the spoilers and photos and it was actually Vanessa or someone else?
I think the new teacher should hook up with Dan. Nate's slept/made out with enough women. It'd be great for Dan to do something out-of-characater and risque.

Chuck hooking up with the hot teacher would be boring. He's been with enough women already. Dan needs to get out of his "comfort zone and experience new things" (2.05) and this would be a great start ;)

I dont think it will be Dan as he is going to be back with S soon (according to Penn in his CW11 interview). Maybe Eric??

I know this will seem out-there, but i bet the hot teacher has an affair with DAN! Its a perfect GG shocker! Can you imagine Lonely Boy hooking up with a sexy prof? No? Exactly. It's too OMFG to contemplate!

yes, the clues helped a lot! Now I know for sure that Bart dies, but how? As for the hot new teacher, I think she is going to drag her claws onto Chuck Bass due to him being a womanizer.

obviously barts the one to die. look at the obvious hints:
-bart's bro comes to visit(uh why...? hmm maybe bc something going to happen!)
-pics of chuck really upset at cemetary lashing out at everyone.
those facts alone all point to bart.

I knew that! Lily was pregnat with Rufus, but she had an abortion and that is why they broke up! And probobly Rufus didn't even knew that! I think that they suggestet sth like that in season 1 already..

the hot new teacher for dan is interesting. i agree that it is out of character thats why its so much better. why not nate? -- because he already had a catherine. its not likely that he will get involved with another cougar anytime soon. why not chuck? -- because he will be busy fighting for his father's empire and winning back blair. why not rufus? --because he will be busy with lily and her secrets. why not aaron? -- hmmm.. his character might be busy with serena or some other girl and might be out of the story by then??
thats just my opinion. but i would love it if it was dan. ^__^

It should be Dan who catches the teacher's eye - he's had some pretty boring storylines this season and really if it were Nate then they are just recycling old stuff. It should be Dan and then Blair finds out and uses it as ammunition (just because she can).

Look at it this way: Dan hooks up with sexy teacher, stops being judgmental, then reunites with S.
When I read: Hot new teacher, I thought it was going to be a man (90210, damn you), and I hoped he'd be for Blair or something.
The guys had too many girls. Give some men our leading ladies (And please, Aaron doesn't count)
