I think that Nate is better off with Vanessa. No one else wants her (cause she doesn't exist) and Nate's fling wit Jenny was so wrong from the start.

Nate and Jenny are incredble together and have amazing chemistry! hooking up nv at all was wrong from the start! Go NJ!

I'm not an NJ shipper but if the writers make their relationship interesting, I'd watch them. I really don't think the age gap between the actors is a problem.
As for NV, I can only think of one reason to pair them up and that's to occupy two of the most boring characters on the show. They talk for the first time in one episode and then their instantly an item? How random.
