So much happened in last night's episode, "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?" So much more went unanswered in typical Gossip Girl cliffhanger fashion.
Chuck was spiraling out of control and poised to expose Lily's secret, but ended up torching the envelope and crawling into bed with a loving Blair.
Blair finally said those three little words only to be left behind - and a promo of the next episode shows Chuck teetering on the edge of a building.
Sadly, we have to wait until January 5 to find out, but E! Online has gotten to the bottom of at least some of the burning questions left unresolved.

Although it might not seem like there is much hope for a shiny, blissed-out future for our beloved Chuck and Blair, a reliable insider says this:
"Chuck and Blair aren't just the Gossip Girl couple of the moment. They are the core Gossip Girl couple of the series. So you definitely will see much, much more of them in the days to come. The dance has just begun."
Still, for the time being, Chuck and Blair won't be together.
In the next episode, we will learn that Chuck has fled the U.S. on a path to self-destruction, which is why Bart's brother, Jack, comes into town.

chuck, as scene on the promo, is turning suicidal. i think he is really having mixed feeling right now about bart's death, lily's secret, he's feeling of being left alone, and his feelings for blair. Im kind of a happy that the CHAIR tandem hasn't really gone to a happily ever after state, thus, this means more intense chair scenes to come... thank god for that. btw, i don't think chuck would die on his suicidal attempts because we all know and the producers would know the fans would oppose to that. let's just hope jack would make chuck calm down...

NO i read some Spoiler and script who said that Chuck gonna be the succedeur, follower (?!! I don't know the word in english sorry) of bart and jack, the brother who want this place gonna be the tutor of chuck!

I am dying to see the next episode, january 5th is too far away! Great thing Chuck and Blair did not end up together, we have to wait and see Chuck's ordeal and then they will be a happy couple! I also can't wait to see Serena and Dan together they belong to each other!

Gossip Girl was not on my regularly scheduled programming last night so unfortunately, I missed the episode that people are saying is the best yet. I'm sad =[ I love Ed Westwick and think he is a great actor and the story with him and Blair can't be over so I doubt he will die.

I luv CHUNK so much,actually I mean I luv Ed Westwick!He acts pretty well in this episode!The moment C sitting on the bed,he is not Chunk any more,the sorrow eyes,such complicated feeling.I suppose both C&B grow up more.
U C,Blair & Chunk has been a kind of relationship,deep emotion,not what those three words could respect.

did anyone notice how there is something going on with Eric's boyfriend Jon.... He is connected to Bart or Lily Bass someway..cuz eric was talking to Jenny about the funeral and he was all like " I would think Jon would want to be here" or something and Jenny was all like..why? And eric brushed her comment off
