Batten down the hatches, Upper East Siders - Hurricane Georgina is blowing back into town, according to Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly.
Sources confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg will be reprising her role as Serena van der Woodsen's (Blake Lively) nemesis Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl - and for multiple episodes. She first appeared toward the end of Season One.
A Gossip Girl rep declined to comment on the record, but an inside source says Georgina, who was last seen being carted off to rehab, will reappear toward the end of the current Season Two. Wonder in what capacity?
Creator and executive producer Josh Schwartz had hinted at Georgina's return in a past interview, but we're glad it's coming to fruition. The more drama, the merrier!

the spoiler alert word it is ..actually a he so it is not georgy love child .it is a sl for cb because g will try to ruin b's live and we know who will be on her live...chuck so the thing thatworries me it is that g will come at the end of theseason for another lame cliff about cb breaking up becuase g will creatte insecurities over cb relationship.which makes me mad

I really hope it's not her. She's annoying, and I don't see her having some hidden good side. Also didn't her and Dan kiss? That would be kind of messed up. I just wouldn't like her a permenant part of the cast. But I'll be watching the show either way, so oh well.

The GG writers need to get their timelines down better. It would be hard for Georgina to be the love child in question, as she is supposed to be the same age as Serena et al (remember that Chuck and Georgina were supposed to have had sex in the sixth grade? Presumably she wasn't actually in high school and Chuck was the tadpole). Lily was supposed to have been in school at Brown when she was 19, but somehow she's also running around with Rufus and then off in France having his child? Unless this is going to turn into a sci-fi show where Lily can be in two places at one time, doing two radically different things, the writers need to choose a life story/time line for the characters and stick to it. Don't ruin the plot with stupid glitches!

Boy, GG writers sure know how to keep us on our toes. Yuck to Georgina being a love child. Yuck to her trying to be a CB love interest. I don't think Chuck would sleep with her twice. Damn, this is crazy!

It seems weird because isn't she supposed to be the same age as the other kids? RL's child should be older, no?
And why do people think she will mess CB up? Yes, she might go after B then C after knowing B is with him but does anyone actually believe she'll be able to do to them what she did to DS? I don't see it at all

I HATE that she's coming back! It's only because the writers can't come up with anything else. I didn't like the time when she was on Gossip Girl. I know many people love the drama, but G ruined everything last time. The show was depressing back then:(
