i was aslo thinking wat if chuck was the love child dat would be funny considering how he hates dan he harshly told eric that he wasnt related to him or something and tried and (if he is the love child) failed to get freaky with serena and with jenny. also lilly was like a mother to him in the episodes whn they were a family.

Anne Hathaway played a bride twice this year ... (Rachel's getting married and brides war) ... maybe that has something to do with that ?!?!

Thank you Anna! I've heard about it a long time ago, that the sibiling is actually dead. But everybody starts to say that he'll appears in early april or it could be Chuck. I think it would be so hard to Dan and Serena share a sibiling, because of their romance and everything.

it will be great if eleanor is pregnant!!in season 3,it'll be cute seeing chuck helping blair babysit baby yale.hahaha it'll be classic watching chuck and blair handling a baby!!!chair till the end!!

It's true. In the pilot Chuck told about her mom, but I thought it was a mistake of the authors because it was the very first episode.
Yesterday night GG has started here in Italy too but not so good about the number of the people that saw it and here the TV ratings are important to close the series.
I hope GG will continue in the publicTV here!
ps: I saw the 14th in english...very amazing!

I think that the thing they will share is the same college. Anne Hathaway went to Gallatin so she may go there as well. Seeing that they are finding out there colleged soon. Also Gallatin is in New York. And as for the chuck thing i think that when Chuck referred to his mum he meant on of his dad's other wives because Bart has had many different girls. And he also has referred to Lily before as mum. So it may of just been easier in the context of what he was saying. I also think there may be a flashback of his mum and dad. Instead of her being alive.

and i don't think i want chuck's mom alive it would turn a little silly, just like soap operas and i don't know how he'd react! i mean when he's dad died he disappeared for a month now if he's mom show up he would react like disappearing for 2 monthss?? lol

I don't know if I would like Chucks mom being alive. I know I had a hard time dealing with Alison when she came back to the season. If Chucks mom comes into the show, I have a feeling she will try to 'make up for lost time' and try to enforce stuff onto Chuck. It would be silly.

Well, CHAIRx3, you have to remember that Chuck was only a baby when him mother supposedly died. Well, what if his mother just walked off and Bart never told Chuck the truth? No, Chuck wouldn't say his mother died just to get Dan to feel sorry for him. If his mother IS alive, then Bart had probably lied to Chuck and told him his mother died in order to not hurt him...You know.. Plus, just because Bart said he misses her (Chuck's mom), doesn't mean she's dead.
I don't know if bringing his mother in the show will help or hurt Chuck. He does need a relative (Jack doesn't count..he's clearly after the industry) but at the same time, he might feel awfully betrayed. Seriously, Chuck's been through enough already.

Rara, i already thought about that the love child could be Chuck, but there are a lot of holes. Cause Chuck is about eighteen, and the "kid" is about tweenty or more.
And i was just reading about the Anne Hathaway history,the shekespeare's wife, and they said she married pregnat. If i could remember at all, i read that there will be a character pregnant this season. Could it be Serena ? O_________O
Oh my gooood! There are so possibilities, the writters want to kill us! HAHAHA!

I think he said Oscar buzz to steer one in another direction so that one would not think of the Anne Hathaway who is getting the buzz but anohter. AKA the Shakespeare one...
I was kind of hoping the love child would be a girl. I feel like there are constantly new boys added to the show and not so many girls.
The talk about Blair and Uncle Bass getting together seems slightly awkward since they have ZERO chemistry. IDK, I'm hoping it is something better then that. I hate the way Blair just randomly said "Don't mention New Year." It just kind of fell out of the blue...

Well everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that there's the teensiest possibility that chuck is rufus and lily's love child which would solve the issue of chuck's mom being alive. but god if rufus is chuck's dad i think i/chuck might vomit.

honeyhotslots i like your plot on the shakespeare thing and isnt that the teacher go gets along with serena and give a B minus or something with blair..
and chuck´s mom that is not right at all, and blair and jake neither.
and i also think blair is growing up her actions make more sense right now than one in last season but i also think that her problems with bulimic are getting higher im still thinking when she was crying at the mirror in last episode she had a what do you say rebound? refall in her bulimic problem, she looked like thanksgiving from season one and i love her so much soo vulnerable heartbroken one second next second trying to get in control and the last one being queen B again she only needs love!

I'd like if Chuck's mom was alive... but how would they explain that? Why would everyone say she died giving birth? That's really cruel to let Chuck believe that...
ALSO if his mom is alive, they did show a picture of her in that one scene with Chuck and his dad talking about her, so I assume they would have already cast that woman in the photo if she is indeed going to be on the show....hmmm.

they changed alot of things about the pilot , blairs room chucks room even blairs mom. eleanor was a different actress in the first episode then when she comes back in bad news blair.

rufus and lilly r good together. NATE AND SERENA belong together. They r both hot rich nd selfless. I think the books are better. cept for the ending wen nate isnt wit serena. :(

i dont think s & d could be in a relationship if they share a sibling because any little thingmakes them breakup. example s doesnt tell d about her shamefull past, they dont work out difrences(hello u can do that during the relationship duh) and their parents are in love. so maybe itsnot meant to be and there parents are meant to be.

Jazz, bart says chuck's mother is dead, in episode where he reads dan's story, at the end when he's in chuck's bedroom, bart says "i never blamed you for your mother death". plus last episode in the principal's office jack says chuck's parents are dead.
The only way it makes sense is if bart is the one lying and making chuck and everyone else believe his wife died...or maybe chuck's mother fake her own death and even bart believed it...
either way i hope the writers don't go there, because it's pretty clear that chuck thinks his mother is dead, so it would break his heart (even more) if it turns out that she's been alive all along...
And i agree, rufus and lily son's definitely alive, i think the adoptive parents lie because they don't want them to met (maybe he doesn't even know he was adopted)!

I could see Dan cheating on Serena with the new Shakespeare teacher, it makes sense...
Someone mentioned Bart being upset about Chuck's mother being dead, but does anyone other than Chuck actually ever SAY she's dead? Chuck could have simply been trying to make Dan feel bad for him. Mrs. Bass could have simply left, and Chuck doesn't want to talk about it :)
And since it was confirmed on the show that Rufus and Lily's love child was a boy, he's definitely still alive.

I hope if Chucks mom is still I alive shes a good person... Chuck doesn't need more drama!
