Q: What's the latest on Gossip Girl?
A: A former big time couple that some of you love will be getting back together. Also, Nate's grandfather makes him an offer that's too good to pass up, which leads to Vanessa feeling out of place, and the dynamic of that relationship shifting. Basically the whole rest of the second season of Gossip Girl is relationship roulette.
Q: Who is the Gossip Girl couple getting back together?
A: Not Jenny and Nate. But, right now you Chuck and Blair fans should be weeping, 'cause this old couple reconnecting totally means that Bluck or Chair (or whatever your name of choice) will not become a real couple any time soon this season.
Q: What's next for Rufus and Lily?
A: Rufus and Lily continue to play house, which continues to sicken the kids.

I read this from another posting a week or 2 ago
-The core couple that will come back together is not Dan&Serena or Nate with anyone, he is with Vanessa and it will stay that way
That was from another spoiler site. So won't this E!Online spoiler be directly contradicting it? I.e. it says Nate won't be with anyone - if so, how can he and Blair be hooking up again?

here's food for thought: the grandfather! you know how the archibalds are, they want everything perfect... what about a FAKE nate/blair back together?... both of them have trouble that a well-respected relationship might help with. and BEFORE anyone says chuck and blair is respectaable... it's true but like i said i'm coughing this all up to the grandafther who just resurrected from the never before seen ashes

Let's just say hypothetically that Blair and Nate do get back together, it would never work. They've grow too far apart and have different values, nothing in common. They obviously wouldn't love each other and any reason they'd be "together" is if they each get something out if it. So any thing between them wouldn't be real.
As for the whole "bluck" thing (God, that's an awful name) it's enevitable. The writers can't string us along since season one, to not have them together at some point would be WRONG. Besides, she said not any time SOON this season, doesn't mean it won't happen this season just not any time soon. Chuck and Blair obviously need time to grow apart before they could come together and make it work. But having their realationship wait until season three is a bit too long.

i think that probly like in the 1st season or watevr in the second 2 last epi blair and chuck will finally get together and then somethin in the finale will make blair and nate together. just a guess. or mayb nate's grandfather will pull a cece van der woodsen and make him choose between his money and vanessa, and lets be honest NO ONE likes vanessa

I would like Vanessa a whole lot more if she were the reason Nate wasnt with Blair. That way Blair could be with Chuck.
