Oh no, Chuck's gonna cheat on Blair, well I guess so, since the girl with the fur coat that Jack invited to Chuck's flat is the one who's together with Chuck in the limo in the promo! :-(

It probably is Chuck in the elevator in the promo then - apologizing to Blair with flowers for being momentarily retarded and missing dinner.

Jack is apologizing to Chuck saying that Bass Industries is his rightful place. Then, he says he wants to take Chuck out to properly celebrate with him, but Chuck says he has dinner plans with Blair. Jack asks him if this is how he pictured his future - spending his days at the office and going home to a wife. Then, Jack opens the door and says he invited some friends. There are some girls there and Jack asks him to reconsider - and seems like Chuck is ready to party with them and forget Blair.

ugh... i HATE jack bass. he needs to get off the show, PRONTO. maybe he's just trying to get chuck out of the house so he (jack) can make a move on blair...
i bet chuck'll apologize by the end of the episode.
plus, i've been thinking about this whole "new year's" thing and i'm starting to think that it's really not gonna be this huge deal (aka NOT jack/blair sleeping together). remember the whole "i killed a man" serena built up for like 4 epsidoes last season and it ended up NOT being really anything that major? (i mean, yes, a man died, but she was being WAAAAY overdramatic about the whole thing...) maybe this is something minor compared to sleeping with him.
