Yeah, but come on now...to have the love child be the same age as Serena?

I really don't understand how love child can be the same age as Dan and Serena? I guess it can be possible. Like if love child was born in September (so he would have to stay in the previous grade despite him being older...) and Serena was born in like June or July? But thats realy pushing it. LIke i'm sure Lily didn't just have her son and then get married to Serena and Eric's dad and then get pregnant again? Wel maybe... who knows? in my mind, this is ridiculous.
i just want my chuck and blair :)
dan and serena was always my favorite but nnow i'm just pissed on the GG writers for making their relationship so incestous like. and for making dan an ass hole
I don't know id it's the same in Usa, but here in Europe you can like skip school years and then go back. So, let's say the guy is 20 as it was hinted in some previous episode, he could have left high school and then decided to go back? Is it possible to do so in Usa? Otherwise it's going to be weird!
AND IF LILY GAVE HIM UP FOR ADOPTION THEN WHY WOULD HE BE FINISHING UP SCHOOL IN NYC... HE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ADOPTIVE PARENTS, NOT THE BIRTH PARENTS I WISH THEY'D JUST DROP THE STORY LINE ALL TOGETHER IT JUST SEEMS A LITTLE TOO FAR FETCHED AND AWKWARD
honestly the whole "love child" story seems a little weird... i think it just doesn't fit with the whole Lily-Rufus story line!
And i think Blair and Chuck are planing something against Gabriel... (btw: Armie Hammer seems to be really tall! I mean if he's taller then Blake Lively and she's probably wearing heels...)

The love child thing makes no sense. Unless for some reason he just never finished High School. Maybe he dropped out or something, maybe he didn't like his adoptive parents, who knows but they need to do something to make it believable, because right now from that little snippet it doesn't make the least bit of sense to me.
omg I need Blair and Chuck! I can not wait to see a jealous/angry Chuck! YES!

The upcoming episodes sound like they will be good. I just hope that they don't feel rushed as the last few episodes of season 1. Here's my prediction of what's to come: Serena and Poppy will become frenemies once Poppy's bf Gabriel moves in on S. Then the drama that Serena would encounter will unfold...following the return of a reformed Georgina.
Georgina and Blair will face off.
Jenny will rethink her high school goals.
Dan...will be Dan (boring).
Chuck and Blair will reunite while Nate and Vanessa will separate.
The lovechild will cause rift between the merging families.

the age of dissonances plot is:
36 (18) "The Age of Dissonance" March 16, 2009
The Constance Billard and St. Jude seniors put on a production of “The Age of Innocence” and find their personal lives mirroring conflicts in the play. Serena develops a crush on the play’s director, Julian (guest star Harmon Walsh), and enlists Vanessa’s knowledge of theater to help her get the otherwise uninterested guy’s attention. Blair receives devastating news about her future that leads her on a witch-hunt for the person responsible. Dan and Rachel (guest star Laura Breckenridge) agree to stay away from each other in the aftermath of being discovered as more than teacher and student, but find it impossible to keep that promise. Chuck enlists help from an unlikely source, his nemesis Carter Baizen (guest star Sebastian Stan).

And I love the timing of Cyrus's return to GG. Its perfect considering the episode title is, Seder Anything. Lulz on the Jewish reference. :D

It makes no sense that Lovechild would go to Rufus and Lily...he doesn't even know about them...the age thing also doesn't jive.
February 27th, 2009 2:55 PM
maybe he never got to finish high school, and now he is like 20 and he wants to complete schooling so they send him back? ever thought of it that way?
and omg too much story in 8 f-ing episodes! i wanted georgina back longer!
February 27th, 2009 2:57 PM
I thought Lily had the "lovechild" when she was 17, and if the kid is 17 or 18, Lily would be in her 20s and that is not possible.
February 27th, 2009 3:28 PM
i heard in the episode loose ends or somthing chuck and blair get back together
February 27th, 2009 4:52 PM
Lily was 19 when she had the love child...
