The actress was seen shooting the new Gossip Girl spinoff series on Tuesday at the Sip-n-Pump gas station next to Neptune Restaurant in Malibu, Calif.

I think they've totally miscast the role. I will give the spinoff a very brief look-in, but on the whole I'm pretty disinterested. The fashion choice looks pretty average too.

Is she in costume? because that doesn't look like an 80's outfit to me! Ok, maybe an extra in Dallas getting ready for a rodeo, but where are the sequins? And the shoulders' pads? And the boots are completely wrong: more like end of the 70's, but in the 70's they would never tuck their jeans inside the boots. Sorry, I'm a bit of a fashionista...

Those boots are leftovers from GG. Serena wears them all the time.
I think Brittany looks great as Lily. The confused, random, partially-concerned face she's making is right on.

ahhh no....she is not Lily, this looks like the producers really rushed this spin off show and failed to properly cast and look, Brittany Snow is way to overrated with her many flopped films, they should have selected someone with a lower profile who would have truly brought the essence of Lily and her life before GG, this does not look so convincing

well i think she's a great actress but she doesn't really look like kelly rutherford. kelly is very tall, brittany is very small.

Ya I don't really like the casting for her. Lily back then I picture as kind of an ethereal beauty not the cute girlfriend look that Brittany Snow has.

agree agree agree - totally miscast! she's way too short! both the rhodes and the van der woodesens are TALL!
