Gossip Girl Spoilers: Derena Done For Good?
Would Georgina be a good addition to the cast full-time? Is there a glimmer of hope for Dan and Serena? Here couple of Gossip Girl spoilers from E! Online today ...
Q: I can't wait for Georgina Sparks to come back to Gossip Girl! Any chance we'll see more of her next season, too?
A: I'm just as excited as you are, especially after all of the goodies that have been revealed about Georgina's return! Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina) tells us nothing has been decided just yet about her Gossip Girl fate, but her answer did have us leaning toward a yes! "A character like Georgina is so fantastic, and there are so many elements that are exciting and untapped, so you never know." And while she has nothing planned, Michelle went on to say that she would definitely be open to a full-time TV gig, whether it's Gossip Girl or something new. "I think the wonderful thing about doing TV shows is that you get a few months out of the year to do films as well, so you get the best out of every world." Did you hear that Josh Schwartz?
Q: Hey, I'm dying without my Gossip Girl fix! Please, is there any hope for Serena and Dan now that they have a half-dead-sibling? Anything else you can spill?
A: They have a half sibling who is fully alive and whom we will see on the show! And because of that and more, I'm told by a source: "Serena and Dan are really over." Done. Kaput. No hope for them this season. Sorry! As for the rest of the spring, Serena will be cozying up big time to her new boy-toy (played by Armie Hammer) and a source says: "The last few episodes of the season are chock-full of some of the biggest OMFG moments of the series."

maybe just for now there are not going to be together "together"..
but maybe in the coming seasons.. who knows right??
anything can happen on gossip girl..
heck.. chuck might even be gay like in the books which i hope will never happen in the effingly awesome series...

I don't think I'll like Darena being done for good. Srsly. Dan and Serena being together is like a staple, you know? It's something that's always there. Then again, for Darena to be possible, there shouldn't be Lily-Rufus. Hmmmm.

I think they might be over for now and maybe for next season too (frankly, I was quite tired of the on-off situation), but I don't think the writers aren't going to reprise the realtionship in the future. After all, all the members of the cast signed for 6 seasons!
As for Georgina, I would love to see her as a recurrent: now that Chuck became a main character, somehow redeemed (as much as redeemed as Chuck Bass can be), we need a juicy, evil character!

Just yesterday I was re-watching an old episode of season 1, and it made me miss the old Derena really bad. But this season Dan just ticked me off, so I'm fine with them being apart for awhile. I do NOT want Georgina as part of the show though.

Well...I did like Derena last season and into this season until some episodes where Dan seems to be trying to make up Serena's mind or just plain be bossy. Seems like he pressures her to do things his way...or what he believes to be the right way...without being openminded to her thinking. Dan...it was obvious that eventually Mr. Goody2Shoes was gonna fall off his high horse and exhibit questionable (as far as him judging others for the same behaviors) behaviors. Derena was good, but Dan got a little smothering for me.
I don't have a problem with them getting back in the future...but I just hope it 's not so whiny!
Georgina...this could be interesting. lol I don't mind if she plots with Chuck, but I hope they do not hook up. I just really want to see Chuck and Blair's relationship/friendship be on the road to repair.
This break has been toooooo long.
I wonder if the break was due to the writers being stumped after all the cat/mouse Chair episodes this season, then the demise of so much, the outpouring of fans regarding all the dark stuff....idk.....
I think I'm just aggravated that the break has been so long!!!

I'm fine with Derena being apart for a while too, but I think the producers make a REALLY big mistake if they don't get together in the future! The cast has said that they don't know what will happpen, and the same with Josh. So I think "Serena and Dan are really over." Done. Kaput. No hope for them this season." is true for now, but "This season" probably means they don't know in the future...

Im sure, dan and serena will be back together, but not now please! They need to be separate, with separate love interests and life.
But yup, i miss the old derena. But who knows, in the next season they'll be together and never apart.
I think it would also be good seeing a couple in GG that is together for good(i hope that's derena) but not for now. Haha.:)
Oh, about Georgina! I was terribly affected by her presence in the past season but i guess her appearance this last episodes will be fun fun fun! OMFG!:)

Completely agree, JOPAO! I miss the old Derena, and think they need to stay apart for a while. In the future, the HAVE to be together, though! GG need a couple like that:)
