Monday night's Gossip Girl, "A Southern Gentleman Prefers Blondes," featured so much drama, scandal and intrigue, Blair Waldorf even broke out the beret.
She and Chuck had Serena's boyfriend Gabriel pegged as a shady character from the start, and have enlisted a familiar face - Georgina - in their efforts.
But is Chair's shared desire to protect Serena from Gabriel just a way of reconnecting with each other? And will Nate ultimately suffer the consequences?

I absolutely loved the episode!
C&B: I loved how in the beginning Blair said Chuck had been a waste of time because "it's not a relationship when you can't even hold hands" and then in the limo she wakes up holding his hand... Awww, so cute! And all their scenes... oh, how I missed Chair!
Rufus: I feel so terrible for him. Because he's going to invest in whatever Poppy and Gabriel are scheming and he did it so he could give his family everything they needed, and come out the guy on top for ONCE and... it's just going to end badly. It was like watching a little kid wait up for Santa when all he'll get is dissapointment when he realises he doesn't exist. I just hope everything will turn out well for the Humphrey family...
Gabriel and Poppy: I hate them because they've got a secret agenda and they want to destroy everyone's lives but at the same time I can't help but like them, because unlike Aaron Rose or Ms. Carr, they actually make the show INTERESTING and leave you hanging on the edge of your seat.
Nate: Argh! I love the guy, because he's always trying to do the right thing from the goodness of his heart, but in this episode we saw a part of him we hadn't seen before! I feel bad that he suffers because of C&B but, what can we do? Chuck and Blair are meant for each other. It was only a matter of time. I just hope he doesn't end up being too crushed and can find someone else who he can be hapy with...
And finally...
Our darling Georgina: Reformed? Yeah, right. There was no mistaking that glint of evil in her eyes when Blair's name came up. I love her, especially the "Is that Serena? Say hi to her for me, I hold so much love for that girl!" LOL. She's just so awesome.
... Well. Had to get that out of my system.
I think the last few episodes are going to be brilliant :) It looks so promising. Yay!

Will someone please, please, please fix Chuck's hair? I loved it season one, why are they making him look like Draco Malfoy (except not blonde). I swear we already have "man bangs" now there is "widow's peak"
Oh, and I loved the episode, and I am glad the storylines are lasting longer than 2 minutes.

GREAT EPISODE!!!! B COULD NOT HAVE LOOKED ANY BETTER, AMAZING OUTFITS ESPECIALLY THE YELLOW COAT.
C&B ALSO HAD SOME AMAZING LINES THIS EPISODE.
LIL' J NEEDS TO STOP SMOKING, ITS PRETTY SAD WHEN A 15YEAR OLD ALREADY HAS A SMOKERS VOICE.

everything about chuck n blair when they are taking care georgina is always SWEET... falling sleep in season 1 with hugging n now falling sleep with holding hand ^^ they are heart of this show. I can't wait chuck make blair realize who's she really love. CHUCK N BLAIR are ROCK!!!!

ew chuck makes me sick. first he promises nate he won't pursue blair and then he goes behind his back to get blair away from nate. im so tired of blair falling for chuck every time. it's just sad that a smart beautiful girl like her would choose a scheming playboy (with extra huge nostrils) over someone who actually cared about her like nate. in this episode, chuck took blair away from nate not because he cared, but because he wanted to piss nate off. sorry all you "chair" fans, no one "belongs" to anyone.
blair, go back to nate and STAY with him. or if you're gonna go cheat, go find a new guy instead of going back to chuck. the whole blair/chuck storyline is getting OLD and it's just getting ridiculously boring.

gg - i respect your opinion, if you don't like chuck and want blair to be with nate, that's cool. but chuck didn't exactly go behind nate's back. he did everything right in front of his face - from taking her phone call, and letting him know it was blair, to leaving with her to go get georgie. i could argue that nate really has no right to forbid chuck to see blair but that aside, chuck wasn't doing anything 'behind his back'.
