All I can say is- finally GG is fun to watch again! The 2nd half of season 2 has been a serious downer. I'm a big Chair fan but even if the aren't "together" their scenes add so much to the show. It's no coincidence, throw Chuck and Blair together (particularly in the back of that limo) and the show perks up! Great ep.

2. Best fashion moment of the night - Chuck's basketball attire, Serena's "dress" at the co-op party, or the "OMJC" shirts at Georgina's camp?
Chuck's cute velour track suit with his collar sticking up underneath gave me goose bumps, even though for a second I don't believe him and Nate play basketball. Squash, tennis, golf, rugby, lacrosse - for sure. Basketball - too middle class for them.

Lily and Rufus aren't exactly playing the stock market or the lottery - I can hardly believe they would fork over checks to some dude they hardly know who is ten years older than their daughter whose IN HIGH SCHOOL! WAKE UP LILY!

It would be fun to see Chuck and Serena try and be sibs with Dan, but I think Rufus and Lily need to go through another huge storyline arc before they settle in domestic bliss. And hopefully not one that involves the stupid love child.

Unless she wants to turn into creepy Anne Archibald Junior, sure. Otherwise, girlfriend, your real boyfriend is just around the corner. He lives in a place we like to call The Palace Hotel. Go for it already B!

- Chuck and Blair definitely delivered this episode, but, C is a def winner with his "If you need to mark your territory, you might as well just pee on her." If that did not make you crack up, i do not know what will.

- I'm used to seeing BL's cleavage and legs, seriously, I know she has it, but does she have to flaunt it ALL THE TIME? C's b-ball attire definitely comes to a close second to OMJC shirt. That was LOL.

- I don't live in NY and don't really what exactly equals as far there, I tend to believe that Lily is as smart as Serena when it comes to (supposedly) hot men, and Vanessa is just stupid. i would actually have to say the fact that N.Archibald wants to buy an apartment, like, what? You just lost your whole fortune for crying out loud. What? Does he expect to get some moolah from Grandad after dissing him like that? Or maybe even doing some gold-digging with B?
4. Should Rufus propose to Lily?
- I am all for romantic love and such, but, I don't really have an interest in these two, so, do whatever you want with them. Although, if these two do pair up, I'm seeing awesome party, awesome fashions, more Chuck angst, and a whole lot of sibling action.

3. Harder to believe: The distance between NYU and Columbia constituting a long-distance relationship, Lily and friends forking over cash in minutes in this economy, or any scene involving Vanessa? I would say Lily... but when I looked at the spreadsheet on replay, they were 'only' giving him $100-150k - which is less than many of them spend on clothes in month. So, given that's plausible, I'm giving it to Vanessa. To someone who lives a cloistered existence, it probably does seem long-distance!
4. Should Rufus propose to Lily?
Not yet. Besides it being hugely tacky so soon after Bart's death, there is literally no rush... and if I were Rufus, I'd want to decide what to do with my life before I married Lily - Rufus needs to grow (preferably a pair) before he settles down with her and becomes a kept man. (For the record, I actually like them together - but not the way he is in the last few eps.)
5. Should Blair move in with Nate?
No way! Though I'm not a Nair fan, who in their right minds at 18 and with their history do that BEFORE starting college?! Blair is a romantic, but she's not stupid. Her ambivalence when she showed up at the end was not just because of Chuck - it was, I like to think, because a long drive home cleared her head.
BONUS QUESTION: What do you predict will happen next in the Serena-Poppy-Gabriel saga?
Everyone's assuming Rufus will get wiped out, but I'm not so sure... Since he handed over a paper check, if Gabriel really does have a decent bone in his body, all he has to do is not cash it - or at least, cash it and stick the money into a legitimate investment, rather than spend it. And it seems stupid to me they'd have to use this as a way to get Rufus to move in with Lily ... everyone knows it will happen eventually, so no plot device like this is even necessary. I think Serena will be ID'd as his accomplice when Gabriel gets busted, which would explain the statement by Blair ***Spoiler*** when Serena gets arrested that "You have the wrong girl!" ***End Spoiler***
I'm just really excited to see the group together again - I really like the dynamic when they're all together, instead of in packs of 2 or 3. :)

This is tough, but I think I have to give it to Chuck when he said "I see you're wearing your beret-who are we spying on tonight?" because it shows he knows B so well or when he says "Is that the only reason?" because he knows she loves him and wants her to admit it.

The OMJC shirts definitely haha. Chuck's outfit was classic Chuck, which they need to dress him in more often! His season 1 style is disappearing and it was part of his character...where is the scarf????

1. Favorite Quote: I love early on when Blair is trying to get Serena to spy with her and gets all excited about codenames and how well Dorota handles surveillance equipment. This quote only got better when Chuck immediately recognizes her spying beret, clearly she's proposed the same spying scenario to him.
2. Best fashion moment of the night: Would've been Serena's green dress, but she opted for the white one which aside from letting us all know how cold the dressing room was, was kinda boring. I've given up completely on what Chuck wears; it's all overshadowed by his awful hair.... please someone muss up that boy's hair! SO I guess the OMJC shirts would win, but honestly if its a christian camp couldn't they have just kept OMG? My favorite look was Blair's red and black dress though, sooooo cute!
3. I don't find it hard to believe at all that Blair and Nate would both find opposite ends of the city to be too far away; they're spoiled and New York is pretty big, with awful traffic and they're used to a much shorter distance. Vanessa didn't bother me at all this episode, not even her clothing! I guess I've gotten used to her opening her fat mouth to spill things she has no right to spill, but I gotta believe the Humphreys know that by now and basically use her as a way of telling each other things without having to do it in person. So yeah, Vanessa was fine (points too for the STD comment, and the fact that it looked like she brought vanilla vodka for her and Dan to get wasted on but they started drinking beer first, has no one ever told them "Beer before liquor, never been sicker"?). So I gotta give this one to Lily and the "let me get you a check RIGHT NOW" guy. That was so dumb I think my brain had to block it out for the rest of the episode.
4. Should Rufus propose? Not yet. I like that he has the ring, but he doesn't have to give it to her yet, or anytime soon really. Let some tension build up (and also, Bart DIED, they should definitely wait a little while, that whole opera date was bad enough).
5. Should Blair move in with Nate? I don't really know how to feel about that whole thing. I think friend Blair and Nate would've been kinda cool living together, but jealous Nate seems like he'd get pretty insufferable in close quarters. Plus we all know it's not gonna actually happen.
Bonus: The gang is gonna try to get some of the money back, using Georgina to trick Poppy and Gabriel. I can't really figure out how Serena is going to get arrested though, I mean merely introducing people to Gabriel isn't a crime is it? Anyway, I'm more interested in how Georgina is going to interact with Blair and Dan. I predict hilarious babbling from Dan and awesome bitchiness from Blair, YAY!

1. This week wasn't particularly inspiriong; there have been better but I'll go with Dan's splutter when Vanessa said she slept with Chuck Bass twice.
2. What dress? But I loved the OMJC t-shirts, it's so gossip girl.
3. I didn't believe any of it. Vanessa was just about as interesting as the commercial breaks. If Nate hadn't bought that place in Murray Hill wouldn't they both be living at home? Which is like hellooo 6 blocks distantance? Don't even get me started on the schmoozing.

I laughed the hardest when Serena was calling Chuck, and Georgina said "I have so much love in my heart for that girl" and chuck's facial expression was like uhhhhhhhhh lol.. hilarious.

Nate and Blair truly make me sick.. I hate how she acts around him.. I hate how dull he is.. It's all around pathetic.. But I would definitely have to say that these elite New Yorkers were so quick to give money to a kid.. It was painful to watch Rufus hand his check over.. I could see it in Gabriel's eyes that he didn't want to take his hard earned money.. He's just trying to swindle the truly rich.. Although Gabriel's a horrible person for this scheme, at least he has a heart.
