Soon after announcing plans to release an album sometime in the near future, everybody's favorite TV socialite Blair Waldorf, a.k.a. Leighton Meester, gave us a taste of her singing abilities with her rendition of Kim Carnes' "Bette Davis Eyes."
Now the Gossip Girl star has returned for an encore with a techno-pop track, appropriately called "Birthday." Her real birthday, coincidentally, is tomorrow (although she already had a surprise party of sorts thrown for her last week)!
Check it out below ... think it's catchy?

I'm not a fan. It's okay in the verses but the chorus reeks.

I like her voice. Sexy but the chorus does need work. She is talented but I'm predicting ( I could be wrong) that her acting will be the main focus.
