Regardless of your opinions about who should and shouldn't be on this list, some of the comments about Taylor are just out of line and unnecessary. Sure, maybe she wears too much makeup sometimes and her hair's had some "interesting" moments but she is 15--experimentation and finding yourself is what being a teen is all about. Give her a break! All the ladies on the show are beautiful in their own right, no need to bash one just because you like another one better.
I think that TM, with her looks, wardrobe choices, as well as her pictures, is a model, not an actress, but an acceptable model. She has the weird im-younger-than-you-think look that will work wonders for her in the model industry. We don't really want you in GG, TM.
Oh yeah, and someone who can wear the outrageous wardrobe of Blair Waldorf and look drop dead gorgeous is entitled to a position somewhere on this list, or at least somewhere in the whole issue.
I second that GJP2. I mean Leighton is on this month's cosmopolitan and looks amazing!

lizzyb, allow me to clarify some things for you. 1) every poster is entitled to their own opinion. 2) People magazine should have never created a list of "most beautiful people" that included taylor momsen... its just outrageous... case in point: the picture above. she has horrible posture, weird teeth and an elvish face. while that may be fine for some weird cartoonish figure, such a description should never be applied to someone being revered for their beauty. and 3) hell yea leighton and jessica are 10x more gorgeous than taylor could ever hope to be. the fact that there isn't even an honorable mention of them is just plain silly.
moreover, i find taylor momsen's interpretation of Jenny Humphrey completely nauseating. it is such a deviation from the series version of little J, which i thought was a more compelling character, moreso than this mutant form of the character from the book who would have totally been willing to move to the UES... i mean, who wouldnt?! if you already live in that disgusting city as it is (no offense to new yorkers, but crime, filth, pollution and noise just arent interests of mine), you might as well opt to live in the nicer section. bah! it's all so annoying. she should be killed off the show like marissa in oc or sent to boarding school, that way her onscreen interaction would be drastically minimalized to guest starring. that's all she is appropriate for, anyways. this way, the show would be much more enjoyable without all those lame parts that people practically fast forward through.
alas, this is MY OPINION, of which, as i stated in point one, i am entitled to.

a beauty about her thats different than the mainstream bombshell look. So please before
you call someone ugly just look at there features. Some of the most beautiful people in the world are not so perfect looking. look at lily allen or model lily cole their beautiful. So before you bash on someones looks take a deeper look and try to find the true beauty.
