Yesterday, we posted a sneak preview of Chuck and Nate talking about their respective feelings for Blair in Monday's upcoming Gossip Girl episode, "The Wrath of Con."
Switching gears in this new sneak peek, Jenny helps Rufus with his surprise marriage proposal by giving him a pep talk, and then by distracting Lily. It's pretty cute.

Usually I think that Lily and Rufus are boring, but I couldnt help but say aww while watching that clip. Jenny's right, Rufus' proposal is special because it shows he loves her and knows her. I hope Lily says yes! Would there be a reason she wouldn't?

@ilovemusic: well not exactly related... just stepsiblings^^ and i have to agree with you - rufus and lily are usually sooo boring (and i hate this love child SL!!) but i kinda liked them here... though i hate the poor attempt on hiding Kelly Rutherfords pregnancy... =P

I think its sweet, Lily and Rufus should end up together, they've been in love for a long time besides Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle share an amazing on screen chemistry. And Serena and Dan will not be related by blood ties just step siblings as narchibald pointed out.

How cute!! BTW did anyone notice how Jenny and Eric are like the smartest, most intuitive ones on the show? Like, all the others are supposedly very intelligent, i.e. Blair, Dan, etc, but need some advice about life in general, they haven't got a clue. That's why Jenny and Eric are so crucial to the show-- they give their unwanted two cents and make the other characters come to certain insightful realizations about their lives. Genius!

Jenny intuitive? hah! that's a laugh... no offense, taylor. what about the whole jenny gone crazy, moving out and dropping out of school to pursue that silly fashion dream (which would actually be a lot easier to pursue should she stay in school and get some sort of fashion degree). if that's intuitive, than every other drop out in the world must have some genius plan up their sleeve that they have yet to unveil.
dan probably would have given just as good, if not a better, pep talk to his dad about marrying lily.
one more pt, to make: eric being intuitive is silly too. they just aren't featured in the show enough to show their mistakes. but, i will say this, trying to commit suicide and failing horribly doesn't seem intuitive to me... just plain shoddy.

Usually, Jenny gets on my nerves. Now I'm warming up to her; it's so sweet how involved she is. It makes me subconsciously smile when I watch this clip.
