For a season conclusion, this episode sucked!!Yell I am not sure who G.G. has hired for writers on the show right now, but, the Chuck and Blair together at last incident was horribly written! My junior high students could have put more thought and effort, and passion into the writing of this episode. Sure there were a few cutsie moments, but the writers have totally misread the audience and what we want, no- what we need from you. After all of the anticipation leading up to this one particular IMPORTANT event, it was the biggest let down yet on the show. Where was the passion, the romance, the tear jerking tenderness and love that we have been waiting to see for long? This was about as romantic as getting a kiss from your elderly aunt! This episode could have been so much better!
I'm sorry if the networks want this show tuned down somewhat, but this audience and the true GG fans who are really into this show are waiting for more passion such as like what we saw in season one. Come on guys, if you are afraid of the networks, put a parental warning at the beginning of the show for crying out loud; but don't lose the fans that are truly dedicated and are starting to feel more than a little let down right now!Cry As the cast matures on this show, season three also bettter start showing some growth!

I watched the episode last night, and I must say it has to be my favourite episode ever. The entire episode was so suspenseful because I knew the Chuck/Blair scene would be coming. The last scene was epic and beautiful and I can't wait to see what happens with the dynamic duo next.
Also: Georgina as Blair's roommate? Cue the drama!
The moment Scott (aka the lovechild) showed up, I was, like, hells no. I'm really not into that storyline.
Oh, but poor Dan. He doesn't get to go to Yale. I honestly feel bad for him, but in a way I'm glad he's staying in New York. I guess Serena will be the only one leaving the state. Not that I mind, the girl gives me a headache.
Ugh. Maybe Vanessa will go to Europe and never come back.
And Nate. Oh, you sad man bangs you. Didn't even last a week at the mayors office.
Kudos for the Sebastian Stan/Carter Baizen appearance. I just knew that there would be something about S' long lost father.
And Jenny as Queen? Or whatever she is now that the high school hierarchy is done. Or is it?
Loved the episode. And I loved that last scene so much I wouldn't have care if that was the only scene in the entire episode. It was that amazing. I didn't cry, but I feel tingly inside when I think about it. Chuck is so gorgeous an when he says 'I love you' he's just that much better. And beautiful, incredible Blair. Hearing those words makes her (and me!) so happy I could jump up and down for her (which I did). They make such a perfect couple. Two years too long! But, it was so worth the wait.
Can't wait until season 3! It's going to be a long summer...
this was actually a REALLY EXTREMELY GOOD, HEART-WARMING PERFECT SEASON FINALE. i thought it woudl suck but this one brought me to tears. of joy. I LOVED IT.

AND I LOVE CHUCK!!! HE FINALLY SAID HE LOVED ME (and yes i said ME. that goes for all of us who love Chair. when we tells blair he loves her, he's telling US
And I love how at the very end of the show...when gossip girl says. 'you know you love me' xoxo.......gossip girl. She says it in softer more emotional voice.......almost a whisper after the epic Chair ending! Did anyone else notice this?

i was ready to rant about this episode; i was like really this is the season finale WTF . . . that is until i saw that last scene (oh and Georgina's parting remark about roommates); GG has redeemed itself after its many breaks this season and I will definately be tuning in for Season 3.

i just finished the season finale and think i might actually cry. lol The whole last 10 minutes of the show i was like waiting for the cb reunion!! haha and omg so many of them are going to nyu! and GG is following them! cant wait for the next season so im going to go be depressed and read fanfics and rewatch the episodes on my ipod :( haha

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! BEST. EPISODE. EVER. And the way blair looked at chuck. *sigh* Now that right there is true love. And when she told him she loved him, I was screaming all over the place and saying FINALLY: and then he said it just wasn't there any more. And then the FINAL SECONDS when he finally said it. IT'S ABOUT FRIKKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! But what surprised me was Georgina coming back from out of nowhere. And her requesting to be Blair's roomate. I'm like: OMFG. Blair, your in for a wild ride. Damn. This SERIOUSLY was the best gossip girl EVER. can't wait for season 3!!!!!!! *SIGH* Only 3 more months to o. ;[

Actually Maverick, Serena isn't actually LEAVING the state. Technically, brown university is in rhode island. Which is actually IN new york. So basically everyone is still gonna be in New york. But just not in the upper east side. :D

In all honesty, I do think the Chair "I love you" scene could have been a little better set... They were practically in the middle of the street. Blair's whole problem with it this episode was that he was saying it to all the wrong people (a.k.a. all their friends but her). It should have been more private; her room, his place, a rooftop, anything.
Aside from that I'm just glad he said it, and when she asked if he could say it more than once and he repeated it over and over, my heart practically burst. Their scenes together may as well have been the entire episode for me.

I agree that I wanted more from the I LOVE YOU! But it worked for me, I was jumping up and down screaming SAY IT. And he did and that's all Blair wanted, i don't think it matters where it happens and i think that it happened in public where everyone can see and he can't deny it, works really well.

I'm a little sad that I kept spoiling myself for this finale, because my viewing experience wasn't necessarily the greatest without my head in the clouds. :( But I still loved it! And I'll definitely be tuning in next season, but w/ little-to-no spoiling.
I'm actually interested in Scott's storyline, too.
The Chair scenes were AMAZING!!! My heart literally skipped a few beats when Blair and Chuck were talking in the room and she was holding his face telling him that she loves Chuck so much it consumes her. OMG! and the look on his face was priceless and heartmelting!!
Everybody's saying that the last scene was boring or needed to be better. I thought it was perfect. It didnt need to be over the top. It's Chuck and Blair. Just Chuck telling Blair he loved her out loud and to her was enough!!! It was beautiful.
I am so excited for Season 3. It really is going to be a long summer with no new GG!!! August 31 cant come fast enough for me!
