1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
DANdy: This goes to Dan, for the most irrational diss of the night, as he breaks off a friendship with Serena by asking: "When you think about it, what's really keeping us together?"
Gossip Guy: Call me sappy but I loved the Chair exchange at the end where Blair asked him to say I love you a second time. They were so damn cute together!
Mister Meester: The scene at the end was obviously terrific, but I loved these two earlier Chair exchanges: 1. Blair: "We need to talk". Chuck: "I prefer to talk after." 2. Blair: "I haven't seen you in awhile." Chuck: "Have you been looking?"
2. What took you by surprise the most last night?
DANdy: The use of Gossip Girl as an actual character. It didn't really work for me. I'd prefer if the show simply used Gossip Girl as an anonymous, unique sort of narrator. The anti-Meredith Grey, if you will. Leave her alone, Serena, and just focus on your next, revealing outfit.
Mister Meester: Vanessa going to NYU came out of nowhere, though I guess they had to keep her around somehow. Georgina's unexplained caper-solving and enrollment at that same school came as a bit of a surprise, too.
Gossip Guy: Chuck returning from his European adventure with gifts for Blair! OMG. Though Georgina going to NYU and requesting Blair has her roommate? Pretty phenomenal.
Mister Meester: It will be a challenge for the characters as well as the writers to keep it from getting stale, but perhaps after a full season of their chase, Chair will be ready to grow into a real, steady relationship. Perhaps.
DANdy: No. What, will they do keg stands together at an NYC frat party? Go to a movie every Friday night? These two need the kind of drama that isn't possible to attain in a healthy, consistent relationship.
Gossip Guy: I would love for nothing more. However, I've learned one thing in this crazy Gossip Girl world. No one lasts more than a few episodes :(
4. If you were Gossip Girl, how would you describe the graduating seniors we love?
Gossip Guy: Serena - My Wife. Blair - Forever Queen B. Nate - Whore (sorry, Gossip Girl really nailed it). Dan - Perpetual moron for losing S and saying goodbye to her as friends (with potential benefits). Chuck - My Hero.
DANdy: Serena: Your breasts are bigger than your brain. Blair: Never change! Nate: Spend less time man whoring and more time working on facial expressions. Chuck: 2 kewl 4 skool... literally! Dan: Remember when you and Serena were ROFF? U R a moron.
Mister Meester: Blair: Future Mrs. Bass. Chuck: Morally bankrupt, but a softie at heart. Nate: Career politician. Dan: A poster child for Tourette's. Vanessa: She who magically appears without explanation. Nelly Yuki: She who must always be referred to by first and last names. Serena: She whose boobs shall never be tamed.

5. What is Scott's agenda?
Mister Meester: Hopefully not acting. Dude didn't exactly sell himself as V's backpacking companion well. Seriously, though, who knows why this kid is digging into Lily and Rufus' lives, and what he already knows. Money seems too obvious.
Gossip Guy: Besides giving creepy looks after meeting Dan? I'm going with Lily's money on this one.
DANdy: Scott is Gossip Girl! Finkle is Einhorn! Scott is Gossip Girl!
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
DANdy: Dan will make the Dean's list at NYU; Serena will transfer to Columbia; Vanessa will perfect her iced mocha latte technique.
Gossip Guy: Chair will last about four episodes, setting a record for any couple on the show. Georgina will claim top bunk. Bitch. Nate will drop out of college to pursue a full time career in high-priced man whoring. Jenny will end up embracing the Monarchy. Vanessa will never return from her camping trip (hey, we can all dream). Rufus and Lily will wake up a little groggy with popcorn kernels over them and the vague motion that their stoned asses got engaged. (I sure hope it lasts!) Dan will grow a goatee and land some land artsy chick. Serena will marry Gossip Guy.
Mister Meester: The bitch is indeed back as Georgina makes Blair's life a living hell at the glorified state school. Scott will throw a wrench into Rufus and Lily's engagement. Jenny and Eric rule the school. Serena gets kicked out of Brown. Nate and Vanessa are together after they return from Europe but she cheats on him with Scott ... or Dan.

My predictions:
1. Serena WILL be expelled from Brown within or before the start of the new season. Maybe even copying the first episode's opening and GG comment.
2. Georgina will turn Blair's life into a living hell, whether directly or purely through Blair's own paranoia.
3. Jenny and Eric become the school's Sharpay and Ryan, sans spontaneous musical numbers, but still with the pseudo-incestuous undertones.
4. Gossip Girl gets a spin-off sitcom called 'The Humphrey-Van der Woodsen-Bass Household' featuring step-siblings Dan and Chuck, Jenny and Eric.

I hope they will let Blair and Chuck be and give us some good converstaion and storylines TOGETHER. If they break up again I don't think my heart could take it. I could not be happier that they let Chuck show his feels for her. Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick do such a great job and looked so cute together filming that last scene. Just love them!

1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
Hmm ... gonna have to go with Nate here 'Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Wait, wait. DAN is Gossip Girl.' That totally made me laugh. Nate clearly consumed a LOT of alcohol while waiting for GG.
2. What took you by surprise the most last night?
I was pretty shocked by Georgina's roommate request (in a good way). But I guess the most surprising thing has to be how EASILY Vanessa forgave Nate. I don't care about these two, but Nate treated Vanessa horribly and it's just like 'Eh, whatever. No big deal. Let's go to Europe!'
3. Will Chuck and Blair last?
Do they ever? I wish they would, I really do. But the finale seems to imply it, and I certainly hope so. Maybe they'll let them have their taste of happiness after two years of angst a la Seth and Summer. Or maybe they'll turn into Dan and Serena and break up every other episode. The writers have a challenge on their hands: make fans happy (aka keep Chair together) but don't make the relationship stale. GOOD LUCK.
4. If you were Gossip Girl, how would you describe the graduating seniors we love?
Serena: One facial expression. Blair: The only person who can act. Nate: Whore ... and shockingly stupid. Dan: Bipolar (Let's be best friends Serena!! We mean nothing to each other. I LOVE YOU SERENA! Miss Carr is hot.) Chuck: In love with Blair (:P) Vanessa: Stalker of all that is Upper East Side. Jenny: Finally has good hair.
5. What is Scott's agenda?
I actually didn't find him creepy. Yes, he has articles about his parents ... DUH. He's in NY cause he wants to find his birth parents ... not THAT weird. I think he sincerely wants to get to know his family (not every secret child out there is creepy ... even though Brothers and Sisters wants us all to think so)
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
The season will start in the end of summer. Chuck and Blair never leave his bedroom, Lily has turned into a total bridezilla, Jenny is evil again, Vanessa and Nate got back together. All is perfect. But then Blair goes to NYU, resulting in a 'YOU'RE my roommate moment.' Nate drops out of Columbia cause it's all just too hard for his small brain, Chuck tries to be a businessman and a boyfriend, Scott seriously screws up Rufus and Lily, Serena and Carter don't find her father, but they do hook up, Dan spends all his time in the library studying like the nerd he is and Vanessa ... I don't care.

I think that Chair will last for at least half the season. The writters are definitely not going to make it easy on them however. I'm wondering if Blair's old eating disorder might make an appearance and Chuck has to help her through it? Who knows. I just freaking loved that the mother chucker finally said those " three words, eight letters."

personally i think that they should keep chuck and blair together for the next season. the on again off again was getting kind of boring and predictable. would be much more interesting to see what kind of dramas they would face as a proper couple.
i love love love using gg as a character and the bitchy blasts she sent out. nate archibald- class whore- so true!
the character vanessa is annoying which is a shame because the actress seems pretty cool. v doesn't seem to have any point on the show other than being N's girlfriend
they should have made a bigger deal of blair sleeping with jack bass. WTF (even though we all saw it coming)

1. it's so obvious... CHAIR!!! i think the entire dialogue at the end was everything i could wish for. they were so sweet and cute!!!
2. lily going into chuck's room and finding whatever she found. what was she doing there?! and more surprising... taking whatever she found to the humphrey's.
3. I HOPE SO! we deserve at least 6-8 (or even more for all the suffering) episodes. they were so cute together... imagine what that would be like. besides they have such hot scenes... there's no rerason for breaking them apart... CW: if they don't last long enough i'll go all the way there, from argentina (i live in buenos aires), and make sure you'll regret it...
4. dan: nice guy... but nelly yuki fell for him, so... i don't know if that's a good thing
nate: class whore...IT'S TRUE!! i really didn't like him the last few episodes. the way he looked at chuck when he proposed blair to go live with him is something i'll never forgive... (it has nothing to do with the whore part but i had to say it!)
serena: i can't believe she keeps failing choosing a man to be with her. ah! that's right, she's blonde... (don't have anything against blondes, but the ones here are sooooooo stupid. maybe there they are different...)
blair: the eternal queen b...
chuck bass: my dark prince... i love him
(i know it's supposed to be from gossip girl's point of view, but i find it hard to not say what i think about them...)
5. scott's very strange... i'll just say that because he didn't appear that much... but it's kind of creepy the way he knows dan.
BONUS TRACK: i'm going to love georgina and blair... and chuck... well as long as i get my chair i don't care about anything else...
i want so badly the 3rd season premiere!!!

if chuck and blair break up, i think i'm going to stop watching GG. No way. We waited what? 36 episodes? and now it finally (!!) happened.
and that's true. The writers messed up too many times with our fav couple..
