3.) Will Chuck and Blair last? + Predictions for Season 3.
Chair is here to stay. Chuck and Blair are the ultimate team, and they'll have plenty of opportunity to use their skills. Georgina will be their first target. Then, something will happen with Serena, so they'll have to take care of that. Then, Nate's man-whore past will come back to bite him in the butt, so Chair will come to the rescue again.
Chair will spend most of the season rescuing other people. But I have a feeling that Blair is going to go through something really dramatic her first year at college. I mean, this is her first dose of the real world outside of her Manhattan kingdom. The writers are going to throw something her way. I wouldn't be surprised if a date-rape situation is in the works. Chuck will be totally affected by what happens to Blair. His love will be put to the test at some point.
By the last few episodes, Chair will probably be on the outs... but they'll be back together by the end of the season.
1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
The entire Chair exchange at the end was such a great light-hearted break from all their angsty, tear-filled scenes. I'm glad they finally can be happy! But I have to give it to Blair for her epic ILY speech: "Gossip Girl can be right about you all she wants, but I won't let her be right about me. I won't be weak anymore...etc." AMAZING. Leighton shined in this episode.
2. What took you by surprise the most last night?
Finding out that Carter and Serena had been searching for her father

If this weren't TV, I think they would last for a really long time because they never stop loving each other even when they screw each other over. But it's GG, so you never know. BUT executives of the show compared them to Seth and Summer who dated for multiple seasons...I really think they could work. They are definitely endgame though, even if they break up and get back together. Neither one is better with any other character.
4. If you were Gossip Girl, how would you describe the graduating seniors we love?
Serena: A girl with a good heart who tries her best to be a good friend but is misguided sometimes.
Blair: AMAZING young woman who finally is with someone she can be vulnerable and herself with.
Nate: decent, when not dating Blair.
Chuck: his flaws add to his perfection
Dan: Focuses too much on his moral compass but a great guy inside
But I do have to say...in terms of the characters' worst flaws, I think GG actually got it right.
5. What is Scott's agenda?
Knowing the show, its probably something creepy, but I don't think it's strange that he has pictures of his birth parents and is looking for them...only that he didn't tell Dan who he was and he is on the phone with his adoptive parents who were so reluctant before.
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
Nate and Vanessa will get back together. Carter and Serena will find her dad, which will cause problems because he obviously doesn't want to be found. I think Carter and Serena might have a thing, and Serenate will probably happen too, at least for an episode or 2. Georgina will do her best to torment Blair and the two of them will have hilarious scenes hating each other before eventually teaming up. Chair will hopefully last all season and forever! Obviously, they will have drama and issues, but they will still love each other and be a couple. Jenny will try to be a nice queen, but eventually get corrupted by power and turn into a new, less awesome, Blair. Rufus and Lily will be together, they would not break up her 5th marriage. The love child will be a temporary problem, but probably a blessing in their eyes as well.
i forgot to mention...another AMAZING quote was when blair said something like: "I hope he's ready to love me the way Cyrus loves you." to Elenor. OMFG. BLAIR WANTS TO MARRY CHUCK! YAY!!! I would be so happy if this happened

Why the hell would Blair live in a small dorm room where other people already used the bed etc. I mean she wouldn't even take the subway?
And Whale sweater I don't think it is so at nyu becuse she was thinking of moving in with Nate during collage.
hmmm, good point ES. well, that was my theory and the only logical way to explain her living in a dorm (in my opinion). maybe the writers will just decide to be totally inconsistant. or maybe they spring it on blair like a surprise, like she will get a letter requiring she live in a dorm and she'll freak out. i think the whole thing could be really funny. who knows. i'm gonna ask my friend who went to nyu what the deal is, not that the show will follow the reality, but now i am curious!

Probably not. They live on the drama of wanting and loving each other but not being together. But then again no one thought D and S would last, but they lasted a whole season, 18 episodes. Haley and Nathan from One Tree Hill have lasted. Six seasons going on a seventh I might add.

Well, they'll last but the writers will throw wrenches in there all over the place and give them obstacles. But if they're good writers, they'll have them overcome the obstacles and stay together because we and they have waited TOO LONG for this!

Serena: Bad hair days. Blair: Queen B forever. Nate: WHORE. Dan: On drugs? Chuck: A dark prince in love with the queen. Vanessa: Creepy 'documentary' stalker girl from Brooklyn. Nelly Yuki: The one who must be called by her full name.

To find and get to know his parents, then eventually he'll try to get their money.
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
First scene: A fight is going on between an attractive young woman and man. She throws a shoe at him, he ducks and she yells then storms away. He runs after her and spins her around. She yells more and tears come to her eyes. He kisses her fiercely, shutting her up. She looks up at him after breaking the kiss and then attacks him again. Chuck and Blair proceed to the bedroom after another one of their intense fights.
Cut to next scene where two people are hooking up in a limo. Cut to a closeup of Carter Baizen's hands running up Serena's thighs as she kisses him intensely. Just then, the driver signals that they're at their destination and they both stop, Carter gets off Serena and they both fix themselves before getting out of the limo.
Next scene: Lily and Rufus sit in a cafe, eating lunch in Brooklyn. Scott serves them coffee as he is filling in for Vanessa as she is away on her trip. He serves them coffee and biscuits and Lily thanks him, looking up. She stops abruptly and looks closer. Rufus asks her what's wrong and she says 'nothing', then looks away.
Next scene: The police escort a very drunk Nate out of a bar in Italy as he and Dan sing songs obnoxiously loud to the streets of Tuscany. Vanessa walks out after them looking disgusted but when Nate grabs her hand, her face melts and she smiles at him before leading them both back to the hotel to get some sleep.
Next scene: Jenny is in Bendels picking out a dress for the White Party with the help of Eric and Jonathan. She looks at headbands and Eric comments on her recent obsession with them. She looks away slyly and we see a close up of her hand reaching out and taking one, slipping it in her bag and then walking away.
Next scene: Dan is setting up his room at NYU. He hangs up a poster. A voice behind him says 'nice to see you here!' He turns around and says 'GEORGINA?!'
I totally hope those scenes all happen.

The season finalle was just perfect!...well,the Chuck and Blair part,I mean.I can't believe they're together now!!!It was just the perfect ending.Come on,I almost had a heart attack during this season!Now is their time!!They have to least!!!

Why should they break up Chair?
They can be an evil scheming couple, with lots of drama involved: chuck having issues with bass ind, blair's bulimia, chuck's alcholic or drug addiction(?), Jack coming back, Blair socialization problems in NYU (she clearly doesn't like to be sourrounded by common people!)
I think there's a lot to explore...and they can be together "against the world" (aww)...the writers better not screw them up!
I want to see Scott more...he was really cute...and he seems interesting...about NV I think they won't be together in season 3...and for some reason I think that in the new season premiere they won't show us Chair soon and they will keep us wondering where they are for a while so we will all freak out! :D

I have several favourite interactions but the one I like the most was about Nate when Scott says "I do the good deed and that guy walks away with the girl?" and Dan replies "Yeah, it is good to be that guy"
I thought Vanessa would put up a better fight this time. Make Nate work to get her back. Maybe he will while they are in Europe.

I actually wasn't too surprised by Georgina's request! But Chuck waiting for Blair was obviously a surprisde (WHICH I LOVED!!!) and Serena searching for her dad was pretty surprising... I see an opening for a lot of good story lines!

I believe they could/should last, I mean that quote by Chuck when he said no matter where he went, Blair would follow him. They are just part of each other, the best coupling I've seen on T.V. since Seth and Summer. The writers should obviously try to make this work because there is such potential for this power couple to plot and scheme together!! Will they last though, Who knows GG has a way of wrenching its audiences heart strings!!

Blair - Scared but moving forward, and The Ultimate Queen Bee

1. Jenny is going to meet a guy(s). Blair warned her not to give up her heart and focus on what she rules. This is obvious foreshadowing that someone special may threaten to weaken Jenny. Maybe a Nate that's not too old for her this time.
2. Serena's going to find her dad, bring him back, and ultimately the dad's gonna cause some problems.
3. Chuck and Blair will be happy but they're either going to get bored or i think that there may be a second pregnancy scare episode (or maybe just pregnancy)?

1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
"I love you too." EPIC.
2. What took you by surprise the most last night?
Georgina randomly requesting Blair as a roommate. Carter helped S find her dad.
3. Will Chuck and Blair last?
Well, they'll last but the writers will throw wrenches in there all over the place and give them obstacles. But if they're good writers, they'll have them overcome the obstacles and stay together because we and they have waited TOO LONG for this!
4. If you were Gossip Girl, how would you describe the graduating seniors we love?
Serena: Bad hair days. Blair: Queen B forever. Nate: WHORE. Dan: On drugs? Chuck: A dark prince in love with the queen. Vanessa: Creepy 'documentary' stalker girl from Brooklyn. Nelly Yuki: The one who must be called by her full name.
5. What is Scott's agenda?
To find and get to know his parents, then eventually he'll try to get their money.
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
First scene: A fight is going on between an attractive young woman and man. She throws a shoe at him, he ducks and she yells then storms away. He runs after her and spins her around. She yells more and tears come to her eyes. He kisses her fiercely, shutting her up. She looks up at him after breaking the kiss and then attacks him again. Chuck and Blair proceed to the bedroom after another one of their intense fights.
Cut to next scene where two people are hooking up in a limo. Cut to a closeup of Carter Baizen's hands running up Serena's thighs as she kisses him intensely. Just then, the driver signals that they're at their destination and they both stop, Carter gets off Serena and they both fix themselves before getting out of the limo.
Next scene: Lily and Rufus sit in a cafe, eating lunch in Brooklyn. Scott serves them coffee as he is filling in for Vanessa as she is away on her trip. He serves them coffee and biscuits and Lily thanks him, looking up. She stops abruptly and looks closer. Rufus asks her what's wrong and she says 'nothing', then looks away.
Next scene: The police escort a very drunk Nate out of a bar in Italy as he and Dan sing songs obnoxiously loud to the streets of Tuscany. Vanessa walks out after them looking disgusted but when Nate grabs her hand, her face melts and she smiles at him before leading them both back to the hotel to get some sleep.
Next scene: Jenny is in Bendels picking out a dress for the White Party with the help of Eric and Jonathan. She looks at headbands and Eric comments on her recent obsession with them. She looks away slyly and we see a close up of her hand reaching out and taking one, slipping it in her bag and then walking away.
Next scene: Dan is setting up his room at NYU. He hangs up a poster. A voice behind him says 'nice to see you here!' He turns around and says 'GEORGINA?!'
I totally hope those scenes all happen.

The season finalle was just perfect!...well,the Chuck and Blair part,I mean.I can't believe they're together now!!!It was just the perfect ending.Come on,I almost had a heart attack during this season!Now is their time!!They have to least!!!
I'm sure the writers i'll make things complicated,but hopefully,this is going to work out.

Why should they break up Chair?
They can be an evil scheming couple, with lots of drama involved: chuck having issues with bass ind, blair's bulimia, chuck's alcholic or drug addiction(?), Jack coming back, Blair socialization problems in NYU (she clearly doesn't like to be sourrounded by common people!)
I think there's a lot to explore...and they can be together "against the world" (aww)...the writers better not screw them up!
I want to see Scott more...he was really cute...and he seems interesting...about NV I think they won't be together in season 3...and for some reason I think that in the new season premiere they won't show us Chair soon and they will keep us wondering where they are for a while so we will all freak out! :D

the first amazing chair scene of the night, how gossip girl ruined it, and he forgave her. jesus, i seriously love chair.

in the chair way they always do. sure, they'll break up. but they'll always come back. always. they'll last longer than serena and dan.

Blair: the jesus of the upper east side.
Serena: artsy barbie wannabe. last i heard dan was supposed to be the lost puppy, not serena. she looks like a barbie anyways.

tyluv3: if the writers do it well, they'll last. they won't do specific couple things, but they'll be doing a lot of what they usually do, if you know what i mean? they were basically already a couple before this, but to make it official they just needed those three words eight letters. they'll last, but they will have obstacles to overcome. hopefully, they'll overcome them together.

I have several favourite interactions but the one I like the most was about Nate when Scott says "I do the good deed and that guy walks away with the girl?" and Dan replies "Yeah, it is good to be that guy"
I thought Vanessa would put up a better fight this time. Make Nate work to get her back. Maybe he will while they are in Europe.

Whoa whoa... Too many good quotes this episode! Ok, obviously The scene where Blair goes after Chuck and says she's not going to be weak anymore. The GG quote at the end where GG texts "You wanted to meet Gossip Girl? Well, look around. I'm nothing without you. And while most high school friendships fade, it's my hope that what happened today will bond you forever. Now that all my secrets are out, you have a clean slate. Until college. Congratulations, I'm coming with you." umm I liked when Blair said to J "You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you." And the end scene between Chair duh :D
2. What took you by surprise the most last night?
I actually wasn't too surprised by Georgina's request! But Chuck waiting for Blair was obviously a surprisde (WHICH I LOVED!!!) and Serena searching for her dad was pretty surprising... I see an opening for a lot of good story lines!
3. Will Chuck and Blair last?
I believe they could/should last, I mean that quote by Chuck when he said no matter where he went, Blair would follow him. They are just part of each other, the best coupling I've seen on T.V. since Seth and Summer. The writers should obviously try to make this work because there is such potential for this power couple to plot and scheme together!! Will they last though, Who knows GG has a way of wrenching its audiences heart strings!!
4. If you were Gossip Girl, how would you describe the graduating seniors we love?
Blair - Scared but moving forward, and The Ultimate Queen Bee
Serena - Someone who is becoming irrelevant and fading into the background!
Nate - Mentally challenged ... no but seriously his character should gain some depth!
Chuck - Dark Prince seems perfect
Dan - Confused, figure out what he wants and whether he is an insider or outsider
5. What is Scott's agenda?
To wreck havoc obviously, maybe even unintentionally fall for Serena... totally kidding, but who knows. He just wants to get to know his real parents
BONUS QUESTION: What are your predictions for Season 3?
- Chair will last until the end of the series with lots of ups and downs, fights, break ups, seeing other people, affairs but just ultimately they will be together forever
- Interesting to see further development of the Serena-Nate story line that started the whole series off!
- Dan and Serena Action, or Dan and GEORGINA action LOL that would be interesting!!
- Scott will wreck havoc for Lily and Rufus as will Serena's father who will ultimately be found.
- Scott and Vanessa maybe?
- Some serious attempts to find out who gossip girl is by J,who will become a bitch like the second half of season 1
- Anything could happen really and I can't WAIT!!!

1. Jenny is going to meet a guy(s). Blair warned her not to give up her heart and focus on what she rules. This is obvious foreshadowing that someone special may threaten to weaken Jenny. Maybe a Nate that's not too old for her this time.
2. Serena's going to find her dad, bring him back, and ultimately the dad's gonna cause some problems.
3. Chuck and Blair will be happy but they're either going to get bored or i think that there may be a second pregnancy scare episode (or maybe just pregnancy)?

I really hope they keep CHAIR together for more then just 4 episodes!! just imagine wut they would be like...well i guess we don't really know, but the point is WHAT would they be like???!!!

i was so mad about the whole vanessa and nate backpacking trip why can't nate be alone for a while??
their whole relationship has been absolutely pointless to me...
