  1. BlairB Says:

    1. . "Who even voted for her?"
    "I did. 150 times."
    I was crying..

2.Everybody knows that Blair loves Chuck. Nate deserves somebody who loves him and however they are beautiful together it's not Blair.

    3. Not in this season.

    4. maybe Lily she was cute...oh and Keith van der Woodsen was gorgeous i think :P

    5. The awful rocker boy who wanted to be Carol's boyfriend and I dont know the whole thing doesnt really matched to gossip girl.

    bonus:
Chuck and Blair will spend a night together.
Serena is shocked by Gabriel again
Georgina decided to move back to the town finally
Dan, Nate and Vanessa unknowingly catch Jenny getting in a big trouble

  2. xo.r Says:

    1. "Me. About 150 Times"
It was more the way it was said, than the actual words. The fact that Chuck was smiling at Blair the whole time was what made it so good :)

    2. I don't think they should have ever got back together in the first place. When Blair has been with Nate these past few episodes, she's downright boring. Its only when Chuck is in the proximity that she livens up. I can understand why she went back to him though, what with Yale falling through, she needed stability, and Nate was stability to her. Nate is who she thought she wanted, Chuck is who she needs.

    3. I think they will, and I hope it lasts this time. Dan and Serena are perfect, and I think that now they are both mature enough to make their relationship last! Although, i'm unsure as to whether they can survive sharing a brother - should be alright as long as Lily & Rufus don't get back together.

    4. I liked Brittany Snow, I think she's a good actress! It was interesting to learn about Carol, seens as she's never been mentioned in GG. But the buck stops there. I liked the Lily/Owen dynamic.

    5. There was nothing I hated about the scenes themselves, just the fact that they seemed to take up the majority of what had the potential to be a great episode.

    BONUS QUESTIONS:
Chuck and Blair will finally GET IT OOOOONNN.
Serena is shocked by what Gossip Girl has to say.
Georgina decides to become a nun.
Dan, Nate & Vanessa become friends again.

  3. Dair Says:

"My only issues are, eww, couldn't the girl have gone home and showered after being in jail before going to prom?"

LMAO...I was thinking the same thing the whole time she was at prom!! XD

  4. Petra Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?

This episode had great quotes, yet again, but I'll have to choose Lily's answer to Owen's question "Cool, huh?"; "Yeah, sure, cool place to get hepatitis." It cracked me up in the promo already.

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?

Any reason would've been the right reason.

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?

If you'd have asked me this a week ago, I would've screamed "For the love of God NOOO!", but after watching some random episodes in season 1 during the past week, I remember how cute and sweet and romantic they we're. Bring Old Derena back, thank you!

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?

I've always loved No Doubt, they we're so great! I also loved the relationship between Lily and Owen. If this spin-off will come true, I would totally 'ship that.

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?

Finding out that Serena's and Eric's possible father is a douche. I hope the real father is Owen. Come on, it's Lily we're talking about...

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

Blair and Chuck finally get together and life is grand. Serena is shocked by Gossip Girl's close friend being Eric. Dan, Nate and Vanessa unkowingly meet Gossip Girl. (That would explain Kristen Bell at filming)
Seriously, there can be a million answers to the last two. The first one is clear as water.

  5. corinne Says:

    1. "I did. 150 times."
Chuck was acting so cute in this episode! How he remebered what Blair wished her perfect prom to be like and how he actually made it happen- awww !!

    2. I was so happy when they finally broke up. The whole Nair thing was just so fake, it obviously just serve to annoy us Chair fans... Plus Blair has been so boring with Nate, she just needs Chuck in order to break free and live her life right. Chuck loves her, Blair loves him, so it was just fair to break it off with Nate.

    3. They probably will get back together, but I'm sure it will take some time. But I honestly don't care, if I get some fluffy chair cuteness instead!

    4. I liked Brittany Snow. But not so much if you compare her to Kelly R. I also loved Gwen & Snowed Out, and the cute guy who caught Lily's attention, don't remember his name..

    5. I didn't really hate anything, it was better than I had expected. But I would have preferred some more Chair prom action;)

    Bonus Question:
Chuck and Blair will finally confess their feelings and will get back together.
Serena is shocked by revealing someone familiar as Gossip Girl's source.
Georgina decides to stay in New York, cause the bitch is back, y'all.
Dan, Nate & Vanessa unknowingly get to know Scott.

  6. Jade Says:

OMG, worst episode ever! I love Gossip girl, but hey, what's with the flashbacks? They were totally boring and I didn't actually think for a second that it was Lily. They basically came off as just two random sisters. Who cares about them!? And this boring storyline stole time from our favourite actors. Writers, come on!

  7. whale sweater Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
a few good lines and delivery from blair this week (namely, "i own prom" and her feigned casual lack of interest at the mention of a tiara) but i think my favourite was nelly yuki "if you do this stuff in college people think you're pathelogical." i love when gossip girl is self aware and takes digs at itself. it's part of what makes this show smarter than most teen dramadies.

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?
absolutely. i am really glad they handled the break up this way instead of some contrived drama and over the top split. it resolved things between them - blair was having what was supposed to be her dream night and she wasn't happy or satisfied. she's been going through the motions since they got back together and this was a wake up call. i thought it was hilarious that nate seemed typically confused but i think deep down (however deep he gets) he knew it wasn't right either and that is why he didn't protest. and/or he wasn't picking up what she was putting down and has NO IDEA they have broken up. also plausible.

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?
i have no idea but i certainly won't rule it out. i did not see a nate and blair reunion coming so... they are certainly keeping each one relevant to the other and i think it is sweet that they went to prom together. i like them as a couple when they are not finding totally lame reasons to decieve/dump each other. if they can cut that shit out then sure. who cares if they share a sibling, it's gossip girl.

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?
i thought cynthia watros as the young cece was great casting. she looked the part and she had the speech patterns and tone down perfectly. i am interested if they actually make a spin off and we get to see lily turn into the character she is today but if it ends up as a once off then i am inclined to feel like it was a waste of time. the clothes and sets were a fun flashback for people like me who lived through the 80's and no doubt's cover pleasently surprised me.

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?
the guy who was trying to date carol. he wreaked my head. his only redeeming moment was when he mentioned the impalla. it also felt a little predictable but that was sort of nostalgic because it was predictable like every 80's movie i have ever seen. at first jumping back and forth felt a little choppy but once the episode got going i kind of liked the way it was edited. like i say, turn it into a series and i am all for this back door pilot, if not then thanks for nothing.

    BONUS QUESTION:
Blair and Chuck finally exchange i love you's and decide to be together. what other "finally" is there? detonate a bomb? invest in a racehorse? buy an island? feel like this one is a no brainer.
Serena is shocked by everthing that happens. that girl is so naive she never sees anything coming. this is the girl who was shocked that gabriel was running a ponzi scheme. most likely thing to her shock this time stems from the gossip girl blast; its contents or the person close to gg. shock also could stem from the half-brother thing, or that her picture isn't next to gullible in the dictionary, or that 'the hills' is fake. seriously, anything.
Georgina decides to stay in new york as a regular member of the cast instead of making yet ANOTHER hospital drama. YAWN. we finally got rid of ER, please don't do this to me. i want her to stay on the UES is some amazing capacity, like attending nyu with blair or getting invloved in bass industries in some nefarious fashion. or maybe she never graduated highschool what with the whole boot camp/jesus camp etc stuff and attends constance to re-do her senior year. that could be great.
Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ruin everthing for everyone. no, jk, but if both dan and vanessa are involved it must interfere with something or someone's business. maybe they are the unknowing source of the gossip girl blast. 2 meddlers and an unwitting side kick is a recipe for spilled beans.

  8. Taylor Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?

it seems like every single week i have two fav quotes...of course this week is no different; this episode rocked.

Serena: [to Lily] When I'm a mother, I will be nothing like you. I would rather give my kids up for adoption than be like you. Oh wait, you did that.

Young Lily: I don't even know how to be a prostitute. I mean really, how much small talk is required? And where do you even go? And are BJs a must? Because if that's the case, I'm so not doing that.

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?

Yeah. Nate is hot and all but he hasn't gotten Blair's heart; Chuck does. Power to Chair!!

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?

Hopefully. I just wanted so badly to see a D and S [romantic] scene last night, but it's like they danced together [horrible, i might add, no offense, i love them] and the rest S spent with B. But as for reality, they won't get back together with Scott in the way.

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?

I don't know. The clothes, the music maybe.

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?

i don't know. The clothes maybe...this is not my era!

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

Blair and Chuck finally get together. Serena is shocked by the GG blast. Georgina decides to strip at Butter's. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly meet Scott.

  9. Cammie Says:

    hahahaaa DANdy
"Blair and Chuck finally have sex in a bed. Serena is shocked by the ample size of her bosom. Georgina decides to run for Congress. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly shower together."
    roflmao

  10. Anonn~ Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
    Tied between;
    Chuck's "I did. 150 times."
    and
Dorota's "This is body bag, corpse not pretty!"

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?
It felt a little out of place, but I'm damn happy it happened.

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?
Not even gonna lie, I hope not.
I already know these guys are the Ross&Rachel of GG, so I hope that if they *DO* get back together, they do it in style and with class.
But as far as Serena goes, I want Nate&Serena!

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?
    I particularly liked No Doubt.

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?
    It.
I did my Physics homework while they were on. No lie.

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

Blair and Chuck do the nasty nasty because so help me GOD, I have been waiting forever and a day for that.
Serena is shocked by the fact that she knows someone whose working with GG.
Georgina decides to go back to Christian camp?
Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly meet Gossip Girl!

  11. WOW Says:

The 80's scenes needed more Less than Zero effects...Meaning they weren't shady enough...They needed more sleez, more drugs, more randomness. They were good and got the point across, but 1980 is not 2009...So don't try to cover up 2009 with some fugly clothes - those shoes Brittany was wearing with that outfit was so not going with that 80's look. Some 80's montage of hits and a kick ass cameo by No Doubt...MORE SLEEZ PLEASE

  12. chairfan08 Says:

I LOVED the Chair interactions...I seriously started to cry, Chuck is so, so sweet. Hopefully after all of that he realizes that he CAN make her happy.

  13. chair25 Says:

I think Dan , Nate, and Vanessa have a threesome.
    Or something along those lines.

And duh, chuck and Blair finally tell each othe rhow they feel at the same moment.

And Blair's line was the best. I own prom!

  14. SweetNemesis Says:

Blair and Chuck finally become a couple.

Serena is shocked by the mess she created by bringing Gabriel in everybody's lifes and forgets about as soon as she sees her pretty face in the next mirror, she meets a guy (80% douche), likes him, only this time they REALLY share - wait for it - DNA.

Georgina decides to move back to NY and spread Drama over CB, when she tries to seduce Chuck mid-next season. When she fails, she goes for Nate instead who jumps at his first interesting plot since the BNS triangle, is convinced he "changed" her and gets his heart broken, when she dumps him after realizing he actually could.

Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly befriend the son of Rufus&Lily.

  15. iamblairwaldorf.blairwaldorfisme Says:

SweetNemesis: I actually like your version of what happens to G and N. I mean, trying to seduce C would lead to B getting jealous. But it would strengthen their relationship. And then N could go out with G and try to change her and succeed, but then he gets his heart broken and who is there to save him...? (SERENASERENASERENA) I hope the writers totally do this!

  16. Simi Says:

    Lol sex in a bed!

  17. i can't wait till gg season 3 Says:

the music was the best

5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?
the clothes are the worst

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

blair and chuck finally get together and have sex ina bed, serana is shocked by the gg blast and who is gg, georgina decides to stay in nyc and finish hs, dan, nate and vanessa unknowingly meet the spawn of lily and rufus. but i also think vanessa goes to barnard (sry if go there or know people who go there i know people who go ther) but she figures so is lesbian, dan and nate end up going to columbia together and are in the same classes.

  18. i can't wait till gg season 3 Says:

 i did , 150 times
    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

blair and chuck finally get together, serana is shocked by the gg blast and who is gg, georgina decides to stay in nyc and finish hs, dan, nate and vanessa unknowingly met the of lily and rufus. but i also think vanessa goes to barnard (sry if go there or know people who go there i do) but she figures so is lesbian, dan and nate end up go to columbia together and are in the same classes. i forgot to put my answers

  19. Gabi Meester Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
“I've always tried to make my life resemble the movie inside my head, and tonight no effort required, voila”. ... The way she said Voila ahaha was perfect.

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?
Maybe not to Nate, but for Blair.. YES.. and she's right.. she stayed with Nate just because it was her dream since she was 12... but now she's a grown up woman and she's assuming that she's in love so badly with Chuck..

  20. Susie BC Says:

I really want the Nate/Dan/Vanessa thing to be some sort of threesome - maybe both boys try and make out with her? I don't know - it just has to be something GOOD! If it's anything about the "love child" I will declare Dan lame and useless, and he's not in the same category as snorsville Nate and Vanessa, so they better give him and them a better storyline.

  21. Lulu Says:

Favorite quote: "I did. 150 times."

Did B & N break up for the right reasons?
How should we know, since we barely got to see it happening? I feel like we missed about a dozen scenes that should and would have been in the episode, were it not for the dumb flashbacks!

First they're king and queen of prom, and the next thing you know, Boom! It's over. Last episode, Nate is pressuring Blair to move in together, and this week she breaks it all off with some vague, confusing comments and he just stands there with barely a grunt? Absurd.

I don't think Dan and Serena should be a couple, now that they've given them a common sibling. Too weird.

I like Brittany Snow and I LOVE Cynthia Watros, but this 80's thing was nonsense. If they wanted to have another show, great, have another show. Don't spoil the penultimate episode--the Prom episode, for pete's sake!--with this pointless distraction.

What did you like the least about the '80s scenes?
Everything, but most of all the sudden flashing back and forth. It was slice and dice worthy of a horror movie.

    Bonus:
Blair and Chuck will finally, after several episodes of total neglect and downright sabotage of their storyline, suddenly wrap it all up. Chair fans will be thrilled, but it's like giving us a thimbleful of water after six months in the desert.
Serena is shocked that Georgina was last seen in a cliffhanger ending, and then totally dropped for a week with no explanation.
Georgina decides to return again out of the blue to seduce Dan, successfully this time.
Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly book a seat on the same flight out of town.

  22. Little Miss Blair Says:

Totally agree with Blair C Bass about what's going to happen in the finale! Oh my gosh!

  23. TFV168 Says:

    1. My favorite quote of the episode was Blair's "I own Prom.".
    2. Yes, Blair broke up with Nate for the right reasons. You can dream about something your whole life, and when you finally get it you realize it's not what you really want.
    3. Dan & Serena - don't care. Probably not. Having a half-brother in common would be too weird for them.
    4. My favorite part of the 80s flashbacks? 2 words, 14 letters - Andrew McCarthy!
    5. My least favorite part of the 80s flashbacks? It didn't seem to mesh well with the current storyline, but maybe that's just my issue. 'Gossip Girl' is my IDIOT show - a tv show that requires no intelligence or concentration when watching; it is supposed to just spoon-feed my brain until it's mush. I wasn't prepared to have to pay close attention, read subtext, and figure out how Lilly's past experiences of her youth influence her current day relationships with her mother & daughter. That's just too much work!
BQ. Not worth the extra credit.

  24. lnc Says:

    favorite quote
    DOES ANYONE READ THESE?
I DONT KNOW WHY NO ONE PUT THIS

1.blair to serena while in jail: "so did you cut your hair into a mullet and found a lesbian girlfriend yet?"
    so great

    2. i personally dont care

    3. i really really hope so. and was pissed they didn't even have a smudge of a romantic scene

    4. young lily beating up those guys for owen..i think that was his name. p.s i thought brittany snow was awesome in the ep.

    5. it took up to much of the ep

    6. Blair and chuck finally say i love you and get together. Serena is shocked to meet her half sibiling. and dan vanessa and nate have a love triangle

  25. maeby Says:

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
--I hate to be redundant, but it's gotta be Chuck - "I did. 150 times." Le sigh.

    2. Did Blair break up with Nate for the right reasons?
--Wrong reasons, right decision. Deep in her heart, she knows that it's Chuck all the way, and even if he says that he doesn't love her (a flat-out LIE, obvs), running to Nate isn't going to fill the void. I say kudos to Blair because it's pretty courageous to choose being alone over being with someone you don't love.

    3. Will Dan and Serena get together ... again?
--Who knows. I think not, but honestly, I'm so far beyond caring about either of them at this point, it's not even funny. Dan did grow a pair this episode and wasn't his usual whiny, condescending self, but he'll probably be up to his old holier-than-thou tricks in the finale.

    4. What did you like most about the '80s scenes?
--I thought Kristen Ritter looked gorgeous, but other than that, NADA.

    5. What did you like least about the '80s scenes?
-- I thought it was some of the most painfully horrific acting I've ever seen on Gossip Girl, and that's really saying something. I found the references very cliched, the dialogue stilted and campy, and the plot snooze-worthy. Suffice it to say, I'll be shocked if it gets picked up.

BONUS QUESTION: Fill in the blanks based on the CW's season finale synopsis: Blair and Chuck finally ______. Serena is shocked by ______. Georgina decides to ______. Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly ________.

--Blair and Chuck finally... say those three words, eight letters. Serena is shocked by... the identity of Gossip Girl??? Georgina decides to... move back to New York, finally becoming a series regular (please please please, fingers crossed). Dan, Nate, and Vanessa unknowingly... befriend the mystery half-brother???
