Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) recently talked with E! Online about what we can expect on the Gossip Girl season finale, as well as when the show returns in the fall.
No major Gossip Girl spoilers to report, but here are some answers she gave to questions from E!'s Ben Lyons, with a brief video interview clip at the bottom.
Tell us what you think of these replies ...
What's up with Vanessa and Nate? "V will get over Nate's dalliance with Blair sooner rather than later. Obviously, Vanessa's a little bit hurt because that's her boyfriend, but what comes around goes around, so I'm sure Vanessa will be all right."
Will there ever be more to the Vanessa-Chuck relationship we saw earlier this year? "Vanessa hates Chuck... that's what's fun about it. We'll see."
Could Vanessa and Dan ever hook up? "I don't know if I could see Vanessa and Dan together because now that she's come back and accepted his loving Serena, and he's always there for her through so many things with Nate, I think they're just good friends. I don't know if they'll ever date. But it's Gossip Girl, so..."
Could V ever take up with one of the ladies if she exhausts the local supply of eligible bachelors? "For the ladies? I don't know, maybe she will."

We'll see? What is there too see with Chuck and Vanessa? My god if they bring them back up again...didn't the writers get the message last time?

She says a couple people go to NYU, a couple go to Brown, someone doesn't go anywhere, also that vanessa goes to NYU, here are my predictions:
B- NYU
V- NYU
S- Brown
N- Coulmbia
D- Brown/Coulmbia
C- no where/Bass Ind.

Could she stop with the damn CV pimping please? Didn't they do a bunch of damage control to get people over that and now she's going on it about again? Why is she still on this show?

There's one thing I don't get... It seems as though all the characters are staying in New York, and it makes sense, because it just wouldn't work out if each one went off to different parts of the country but... what about Serena? I'm assuming she's the one who goes to Brown, but I don't get why they would want to alienate her from the rest of the characters, you know?
Wouldn't it be hard to fit her in storylines, seeing as she's so far away?

She's not pimping CV again. The typed excerpts are from an old interview, so there's no need for more hating on V. And, obviously, the writers did a great job in getting a lot of viewers riled up and interested in GG by putting two characters together that aren't meant to be. The storyline showed the flaw in human nature when two people get together to make the people they do care about jealous. Jealousy sucks and it makes people do stupid things.

she just gave away that vanessa is going to NYU which proves that the whole:
Blair's new roomate is.... means Blair's roomate is VANESSA, kind of saw it coming but still.
can't wait to see what happens there.
i also think dan&serena's love might rekindle if he doesnt gain the money to go to yale and he goes to brown with her instead.

I think eventually Vanessa and Dan will get together. Serena and Nate eventually and Blair and Chuck. I also think Chuck might get Blair into Yale, with him being rich and all.

I just watched an interview with Leighton on behind the scenes of her new music video and she spills the beans about NYU and about a certain someone " I go to NYU with another character..cant tell you who but bascially the character makes a statement and reveals something that makes Blair think next year is going to be very dramatic and crazy!"
