I didn't like it. First of all, Serena's attempt to start a no-hat-trend was a no-hat-fail. Secondly, I didn't like the interaction with Gossip Girl; she/he is supposed to be omniscient, not directly responsive to those she gossips about. Also, the Rufus/Lily drama has GOT to stop- just get married, and get on with it. BUT, on a positive note, I loved all of the outfits.

Overall, I think the episode needed to be more sentimental, and less focused on Chair. I know my head is going to be cut off for saying that on this website, but I felt that Blair was too focused on Chuck and couldn't even enjoy her graduation as an independent, intelligent young woman.

Also, I really do notttt like Chair, but even I was hoping for a better reunion between the two- the middle of the street, in the afternoon, really? It was such a non-chalante [sp.] event, and the whole gift-thing was vomit-inducing. They should have had a more intimate setting, with no need for material possessions, and the moment should have been less "expected" [B acted like she knew he was going to say it, C acted like he knew she knew], and more tender. Just some thoughts:]

I loved that finale. After two average episodes, this one remembered me why we love Gossip Girl : Blair! Chuck&Blair! Crazy outfits! the non-judging breakfast club back again! Georgina too! Jenny the heiress of mean young upper east side! Lily and Rufus eternal teens! Cyrus a.k.a "Not enough"! and of course, awesome ending!
For next season, I would like Dan and Vanessa to be more entertaining. We all know Dan is a dark and Vanessa is a rebel, but they need more storylines!!! Writers, get loose from the books and concentrate on the series!!! I mean, Vanessa is stunning, she could look like a super model instead of that "hobo" looks! We all know Dan is smart , but since when smart means soporific, why not getting back and spying at upper east side richs as he started with Bart Bass?
I know it's difficult to have 6 leads characters to follow but don't give up our favourite ones(yes, for me it's dan!). And I may repeat: GET LOOSE FROM THE GG BOOKS!

It was an alright episode. The 'Jonathon-is-Gossip-Girl' reveal was great, even if it was misleading, but the 'We're-all-Gossip-Girl-because-we-all-contribute-to-it' was lame and cliche, even though it's true. Jenny getting Queen B wasn't shocking. You could tell from the production photos released that that's what was probably happening, plus there's no point to have the storyline if she wasn't going to get it. A newbie isn't just going to waltz in an get the juicest piece of untold gossip to claim the crown.....er, headband. And since when did Eleanor and Blair develope a normal mother-daughter relationship?

  8. _just_me Says:

I didn't like this episode at all............:(

Where was the nostalgia, of a last episode............

I think season 3 is going to be stupid, because they all live in different sates now.............. WTF

  9. StaceyP Says:

I was disappointed in the Chuck/Blair moment at the end. He finally says ILY and that's it - she's just over it all? It could've been a real emotional moment or a steamy one like the infamous limo scene. I was bummed!

  10. dana Says:

I disagree, the whole chuck and blair ending was sooo good I had to watch a couple times, yes it was a little corny but its about time he mans up and does something a little sweet she told him she loved him so mich it consumed her..come on, he needed to go a little above and beyond.
