I loved how Chuck saved Blair's prom dream. And really glad she broke up with Nate!

That episode was quite a disappointment. The flashbacks were not so good. The storyline was ok, but GOSH, what a lame cast. The young Lilly reminded me much more of Jenny than Serena or even grown up Lilly. Lilly's sister was bizarre and please don't even let me start on younger Cece. Plus all the flashbacks rushed the prom scenes, which was horrible. BN's breakup, Chuck's scheme, it deserved a whole episode for it. And, to top it of, they didn't show what happened to Poppy and Georgina.

I think that the flashback scenes shouldn't have been in this episode, because it used up so much time and rushed the whole plot line. It actually wasn't that bad, but it just didn't need to be in this episode.

I remember seeing in some set pictures or promo pictures that there was like a horse drawn carriage in the last scene of the episode.
where was it?
wasn't there also like a horse drawn carriage in Blair's scrapbook?

I really like the gossip girl spin-off and I hope that CW will be smart enough to pick up the series. From what I see, all the negative discussions regarding this spin-off really comes from the young generation. A large percentage of GG's audience weren't even born yet in the 80's, so most of them can't relate to the fashion and what was "rad" back then, thus, criticizing the whole thing in advance. I say give it a shot before we start judging it, I believe that Josh and Stephanie really know what they're doing and I'm looking forward to the past life of Lily. Thanks!
