The CW has released its fall premiere dates, and we're pleased to tell you that Gossip Girl will officially begin its third season on Monday, September 14.
That's two weeks later than we originally heard, but still, hooray!
Interestingly, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are trading their Monday time slots this upcoming season, meaning Gossip Girl will now air at 9 p.m.
The time slot swap will take effect July 6 with repeats.
The network also managed to put 90210 and the new Melrose Place on the same night, reminiscent of Fox's glory days, although its other two pilots are spread out.

The time switch is a mistake, people that just tune in now and then won't know when the heck it's on. I hate the time change, and the season should start sooner.

noooooooo, i thought it was august 31!!!! that would have meant premiere ep before i'd have to go to school, that sucks, the ep should be worth the wait though:) & we;d better get filming pics and spoilers soon!!!

Rakhi, I'm in the same situation. Right now, I'm watching Skins and LOST- shows, I haven't been able to pick up because of the hectic Gossip Girl Fandom schedule (lol). But now I do. They're great shows.
