Below is an exclusive clip from the upcoming Season 2 DVD of Gossip Girl.
This scene presumably would have taken place in "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?" before Eleanor's wedding to Cyrus. Jenny, Blair and Serena try to comfort Mrs. Waldorf and encourage her to get married despite her obvious cold feet.

The acting is really good in this clip (no surprise with these actresses). I hope we get more Blair/Eleanor, and the bad sides of the relationship as well as the good.

I absolutely love the acting in this scene. Usually don't care for serena, but shes great here and actually Eleanor is too. This deff should have been in the episode. The Chuck reference & Blairs face melts my heart

Love the acting here . . . THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE CUT IT!!!! But it's a bit random how Serena just comes in and joins in te intimate mother/daughter chat.

Agree with everyone on loving the acting...
Y'know, I really do enjoy the show a lot more when it's focused on the girls, their relationships and development and choices.
This show really went downhill this season when the guys made all the decisions, and the girls were either there to be punished, or act as props.

JKay, that was a really interesting and insightful observation... I think it's got merit, and will have to take it under consideration when I rewatch the season. I'm afraid I got stuck during the last hiatus on the Yale episode, where I couldn't stand how S trashed B's chances of getting in. But C & N did seem to exert too much control over a certain lady's heart... not to mention Carter, and even Dan for S.
