i agree with cathii !! lol. i mean blair and dan--if u look at it-- have the chemistry when they have we-hate-each-other scenes. but idk if looking at their lips collide might be that pleasing to see, since u know dan's lips is like....well that/.

-( no derena the whole season. They cnt do that. One of the reasons i watch the show is i had hope that thel eventualy get bak 2getha. They the sweetest couple eva. Once in a while in seariz we need the borin cleshay couple, with no drama. N i realy hope derena would be that couple. But i'm stil hopeful. The writerz cnt do this.

Dan and serena's relationship is real. there's too much chemistry. Atleast the writers put them apart a little while, and be the end game after s3 maybe.
even when they are apart, you can see the chemistry between them. it's amazing. they want to be together but they know they cant be together now.
I prefer Dan and Serena as friends, so this makes me happy:) They were cute in season 1, but they need to date other people. Serena and Nate never really got their chance and Dan and Vanessa were together in the books so they should work that into the show. Derena may still be end game, but I don't really care so much either way.
I think until episode 2x15 cb's history was really epic, episode 2x13 anyone? but IA that the second half of the season was really bad, i hope next season they just stop with the lame sls and give cb a real chance as a couple

The ratings have been pretty much the same whether there's DS or CB or NS, whatever!
Dan and Serena had their chance and they failed as a couple, I don't care for another reunion, so I hope this is true and the friendship route is the one for them. Mouse, agreed (and with Larissabrasil too) and I was a huge Chair fan. Mainly what the show needs is better writing overall, and less chasing of OMFG moments. Taking a break from Derena is a good idea, not only because the writing for them had gotten beyond ridiculous but because the writers are killing everything they touch at the moment. Believe me, with the writing the way it's been overall since 2x15, I wish Chair was on a break too because I'm not all that optimistic that the writers understand what made them great at the moment.
i want to see serena and dan as friends for some time.
and chair!!! they have to be a couple for some episodes. i want to enjoy seeing them happy together. then they can break up again to make more suspense.^^
but dan and serena showed in season 2 that they aren't made for each other. sorry.

Realistically.......the thing that makes the show good is suspense. Dan and Serena were too cute together. Some viewers want to see a little dirt under the characters fingernails not a cutsy high school relationship. Thats why I love Chuck. He dives in the deep end head first AND has swagger (and a well tailored suit.) Writers...some of us want a juicy plot line. Im lovin Nate being a boy toy. I wish I had the $$$$ I would have bought him too. :)

the writing in the second half of the season was horrible. ellen, teacher, yale's storylines were painfull to watch and it's sad that instead of caracter development they opted for lame OMFG momments that are more WTF momments, cv was disgusting and pissed off big part of the viewers... and the way they wrote nate and blair was ridiculous... i am a huge fan but it really bothered me that used nb as a prop to cb.... and i really dont know yet if im gonna watch season 3, i wanna see cb as a couple but at the same time i dont trust the writers anymore... what they did with cb in the second half of the season was just so frustratina and sad... maybe it's better i pretend that their story ended in episode 2x25 and they got their happy end after so many contrived sls.
