I was watching some older episodes recently, and I have to say I am definitely missing Derena. They were adorable together in Season 1, and beginning of Season 2. I agree it would be hard to do though, especially with everything that they have been through.
And I also have my suspitions about Rufus not being the father.
And of course, chair all the way!

Thank GOD! Dan and Serena got under my nerves a LOOONG time ago. They're just too....eugh. I mean at some point I kept an open mind and tried to see them as good together, but it just didn't work out. They're too cutesy and when they're together I just CAN NOT stand their characters, separately they're great. Also, I can not picture them as being endgame. Personally, I think Serena's character has been losing its spark. I mean come on, whatever happened to her being the IT GIRL. Then again, they're going to college in S3 but still. And her ending up with Humphrey is just...NOOOO. Like some of the comments here have said, I would like to see Nate and Serena getting a chance, maybe explore that relationship and the long history they're supposed to have that the writers decide to erase out of thin air.
As for CHAIR, I'm all for them, but I am praying to god that the writers don't ruin they're relationship by doing what they did to Dan and Serena (not that I even enjoyed them anyway). CHAIR needs great (if not good) storylines.

they should definitely be friends for now. i cannot take anymore of serena's mess-ups and apologies right now. i really don't like when she's constantly apologizes because she loses some of her essence as serena because serena is not that type of girl. Serena doesn't do her own damage control. that is just atypical. but i still love her. please bring serena back. then possibly derena in the season after next

I prefer Nate and serena, they have the chemistry since the pilot episode..! i cant see any more derena, when they're together, serena becomes so naive and annoying. well, serena's character has become so naive lately ugh it's sickening!!! derena were cute in s1 but just NOT anymore. serena needs more to be this goddess,carefree gal who seems to be doing just fine without dating Humphrey because she's pretty and all--like on the book! and she needs to get back with her natie...

Augh, people make all these random comments about how the writing is bad and the writers need to get a grip and Chair lost its thrill toward the end of the season... the last half of the season was really bad...etc. etc.
Why? I'd like some reasons to back up some of these comments because I definitely did not see a difference. I mean the show definitely peaked with suspense at 2x13-2x15, but come on! A guy died and his already unstable son went berserk! Can you really top that? I guess they could kill someone every episode to keep the suspense going, but uh...yeah.

All the side storylines lasted one to two episodes max which made those story lines, as well as the guest characters, rushed, undeveloped, and bad. All Chair was in the second half of the season was Blair begging for Chuck's attention over and over and him rejecting her. That was a little sad rather than epic. We saw this coming repeatedly, and I can't believe they even did it in the finale too before they finally got together. We also saw their get-together coming from a mile away, which made even that boring to me.

No one here is really talking about suspense I don't think. It's okay to not have that suspense once in a while. But the above points to me made the latter half of the season terribad.
But, I do hope that Serena's dad is a part of next season. That might actually make Lily and Rufus interesting.

so people should acept this. there are not only darena in the show and i must say.. darena have stolen enough screentime in season two. i find every season should have an own couple plot. and i had wish me that the couple plot in season two would be chair.. but it was darena. hey guys, we had darena in season one the whole season one we had this comming back beginning season two then both break up again out nothing reasons.. they can not work together sorry.. they have tried this three times and anywhen its enough sorry!!
there are another couples too. and rufly earns a chance too. they are in love since 20 years and so they belong together. and there is nothing problem for me if josh would make darena back in the end from gg but not in season three.. if darena is endgame, you can not try this in season three already.. if they are endgame then it happens in the end from gg..
darena are young. they are 18 they have enough time to find themselfes. and rufly are the parents.. they have waited whole 20 years so they should be together hm..
and i hope chair and rufly will be the important couple plots in season three=)

Dan and Serena are boring and their relationship is exhausted and tiring.
Serena needs a seriously upgraded boyfriend this season. I hope the casting department will stop picking "Aarons" and "Gabriels" for that girl.
