I don't think any one of us can judge here. She's not like Paris Hilton, we all know that. And just like the gossip girl episode with serena's sex/drug/murder tape, it is possible that she didn't know she was being filmed. or didn't think it would ever be disclosed...
everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect.
we put celebrities up on a pedestal. we hold them so high, eveuntually the only other way is down...

just because leighton did something completly normal and decided to video tape it doesn't make her a bad person. it's not fair to say that "she shouldn't have done it" because everyone is gonna make their own decisions and some of them might be mistakes. in no way is she becoming another paris or vanessa. paris and vanessa are both attention whores, they purposly released them to gain a larger fan base, and what did it get them? nothing. i think that leighton just made a mistake. sure, she might have to overcome some judgement from doing this, but really, how badly did it effect vanessa? it really didn't. and all of vanessa's fans were children, at least leighton appeals to an older, more mature audience.
besides, it's not like there won't be plenty of people enjoying this, you have to admit, leighton's probably one of the sexiest celebs right now. she's still my idol no matter what happens.

It's no ones business if Leighton chooses to make a sex tape. Everyone has their own preferences, and its her life. No one should judge her, she is still a great actress no matter if it's true or not. If it's from a few years ago it was before she was famous so I'm sure she never thought this would happen
I just feel bad for her that it leaked as it must be embarrassing.. and I'm sure a lot of people will watch it because she's on TV and it would be humiliating.

I really admire leighton meester too. I am saddened by her choice of making a sex tape, but it was her decision. No matter, even if it is true, i will not judge her and i still admire her.

Its so shocking!!..I always thought she's a sweet,smart girl...she doesn't deserve to have a sex like paris,britney....bcoz she's a sweet & a role model....but even it is true or not...i still like Leighton...she still my favorite...Its sad that her sex tape released first than her album...but she is a strong girl she can bounce from this!!!

Interesting...........correct me please if I am wrong but doesnt Leighton Meester have a debut album coming out next month. So a sex tape right before an album release. C'mon Leighton (and her PR team) couldnt you have been a little more original in getting some publicity! So coincidence? or not?
