They never resolved how Nate got over Serena so quickly. It just happened. Like, after the Thanksgiving episode, it was done. I really want them to be endgame.

*i'm biased, of course. i like chuck and blair together, so much, but nate-blair is so close. i'd love to think that whatever happens, nate will still have feelings for blair. that he's the next guy for blair if it weren't for chuck.

And Eleysia, I don't think it would be some sort of filler since S&N had a past. Just bringing them back is all. And c'mon who the hell cares of what Blair thinks? She has Chuck, for Pete's sake! She tried so hard, did things of all sorts just to make him admit his love for her. And then she just resents Serena for finally getting together with Nate? Wth is that? She's just so damn selfish. That's her problem.
Like what others said, Nate's love for S is just so effortless. He didn't need to learn (be forced) to love her because he "naturally" does. I think that's sweet and how things are supposed to be.
I'm crossing my fingers for more Serenate in Season 3!

I would love to see Serenate and so is nearly everyone else. The CW Forums have many Threads with that and other gossip girl forums. The most fans want to have Serenate now. This would give Nate also a stronger character. I don't think this new relationship will last, since this girl's only playing a guest role.

Nate should be with Jenny. Yes, there is a big age gap between them in real life but they're actors and in the show their characters are only like a year or two apart. I believe that Nate and Jenny have the better chemistry and I believe that the writers need to let Nate settle down a bit and have a serious relationship as he has slept with most of the female characters (Serena, Blair and Vanessa) except Jenny. I believe he can help make Jenny grow up and mature a lot more and she can teach him what it like to be in love as his really never known it, I mean his never even had a good family life, he has always had to fend for himself.
I also think that Dan and Blair should eventually get together as they have always had a hate type of relationship which tends to mean that there is a real attraction and they’re just trying to fight it, besides Chair (Chuck and Blair) will be boring after a while, I just don’t see them working out. I believe Dan will provide a more stable relationship for Blair which she has never really had and let’s face it that will never have with Chuck. Chuck will always be her first real love but I don't think he is mean to be the love of her life. Where in the case of Nate and Jenny, they should have their hurdles as a couple and even perhaps have a breakup but I would always like to see them end up together in the end as it's a nice notion that sometimes your very first love is sometimes work out to be the love of your life.
I believe Chuck and Vanessa have good chemistry and should perhaps eventually get together. As for Serena, her and Dan are going to step Siblings eventually so I think it would be nice for her to end up with someone who isn’t apart of the regular cast, perhaps a tall, dark, mysterious, handsome musician who moves to NY City for his career, someone with some mystery and I think the perfect actor for this would be Steven Straight (he starred with Chace Crawford in the Covenant). Let’s face it in reality they can’t all end up with each other, it’s just not realistic so they should definitely introduce other characters at some point.
Well that’s my take……….wish I was one of the writers.

I'm from Germany but though everyone here does think that Nate and Serena belong together.
Nate has to grow up and shouldn't run away from his REAL FEELINGS as always...
He shoud seriously think about his love situation instead of dateing every girl in the cast.
It's annoying.

Nate should be with Jenny. Yes, there is a big age gap between them in real life but they're actors and in the show their characters are only like a year or two apart.
