Carter Baizen to Appear "Heavily" in Season Three
In addition to the gay rumors surrounding Chuck and the stylish summer fashions of the cast, one interesting lip-lock came to light thanks to the promotional photos released yesterday by the CW in advance of Gossip Girl's Season 3 premiere.
It looks like Gossip Girl's Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan, who dates Leighton Meester in real life) is getting close to Blake Lively's Serena van der Woodsen.
Those of us who follow the behind-the-scenes photos from the set on a daily basis were not surprised to see this. But still, who is Carter Baizen, really?
From what we know of him through Seasons 1 and 2, he may not be the most reliable-seeming fellow, but even if you don't trust Carter, you'd better get used to him.
E! says he is a major figure in the first seven episodes of Season 3!
Moreover, while nothing's set in stone right now, it's likely that on top of the early-season run, he will recur heavily throughout the year in some capacity.

Sebastian Stan needs to be a regular. Not just a 'guest star', thats just boring. Carter and Serena is damn fine together!

Yes! yes! yes! tahnk you thank you writers!! I was D/S shipper at first but it got freakin boring. I was also a huge N/S shipper but Nate's a screw-up-well so is Serena. But Serena with Carter would be epic cause these 2 could be the next Chuck and Blair. I want Sebestian Stan as a series regular!!!

/ I'm agreeing completely about this. I love Carter and want him as a regular. I don't want any Serenate as my favourite couple is Jenny/Nate. Anyway, I'm rooting for Scarter and I could really see them even get married in the end. - NOT now, but in the end. After they've probably seperated and then got that they're meant for each other.
This is making Serena more interesting as she was kinda boring in the end of the second season. As someone else said, Serena needs to be with a hot man, not a cute boy.
This will be my favourite Serena-couple. She was okay with Dan, but it got boring... And I didn't like Aaron or Gabriel at all.

sebastian stan is a pretty great actor, and i don't think we've seen enough of carter to make such drastic judgements, but i'm glad they're keeping him around for awhile. but i hope they'll do more with him than just have him be "serena's boyfriend". i want to see carter's backstory =D

I always Carter's character was pointless to the show. And now I'm going to highlight that fact even more.
I never liked his Character and at the moment am finding Serena completely irratating! urrghhhh.
