Gossip Girl Spoilers: Scott is a Good Guy
Remember the scene we showed you photos from yesterday, showing Lily and Rufus apparently having a genuine, joyous reunion with long-lost son Scott?
Or is Scott (Chris Riggi) actually a lying weasel trying to come between Rufus and Lily (Matthew Settle and Kelly Rutherford) and make off with the latter's money?
Here's what E! Online has to say about the scene:
Believe it or not, the heartwarming reunion scene looks to be genuine! Sources say the kids (Dan, Serena, Jenny and Eric) learn about the half brother early in the season, but in episode five, Rufus and Lily finally meet their long-lost love child.
Turns out Scott is up to nothing more scandalous than his quest to find his birth parents after all. He's a good guy, it turns out. At least that's the word.
Interestingly, Scott's main story arc is the first five episodes of Gossip Girl Season 3, but he departs again after the big reunion. More likely than not, however, the character will recur again at some point later in the season in some capacity.

LOL, we're so screwed. I want him to be bad, too. I see no point in introducing a guy just to make him hug, kiss (and God know what else) everyone around.. Especially if he is to disappear after the first five episodes -o- Blah. And I thought nothing could be worse than One Tree Hill: season 7..

Why bring Scott, thus making a Derena reunion quite unlikely, if he is only going to be in the picture for a few episodes and if he is a good guy?

I'm happy Scotts a good guy cuz if he wasn't it wld remind of Vanessa when she came on everone thought she was nice but now she is just a shaddy person who gets in the way of awesome couples ( cough cough CB and NJ)
But still although he is good he sld hav a little dark side. It wld be kewl

I agree with Susie BC. I don't want him to be another boring charakter. I liked the idea of bad Scott better.

I liked him better when we thought he was going to be a crazy stalker who was following Dan around. Now I"m just bored with the character, and the season hasn't even started yet. Make him a psycho - it'll be awesome!
