The people have spoken (with more than 8,000 votes) and by about a 54-40 percent margin, they have chosen GG Insider's new banner from two sexy options.
But the people - on our staff and in our Gossip Girl forum - have also suggested we add a newer, sexier challenger. So, why don't we let the people vote again?
The teal and gray cast photo is out, as is the current Gossip Girl Insider banner. With only six percent voting for no change, we are going to make a change.
But to what? The winning photo, appearing below, sans NYC landscape, has been criticized by some fans for being too old. Some suggested a newer option.

The second banner, hands down!! They all look SO hot, especially Ed and Leighton!! Although I do think it`d be better without Rufus and Lily.

I feel that there is a timeless quality to the first one. It has a better composition and truly captures the spirit of the show; that of the lifestyles of the rich and fabulous who live a reckless life of luxury, glamour and excess.
The second however, provides a much more up-to-date portrayal of the characters' appearances. Nonetheless, this alone is not much of a reason. After all, everyone's appearances frequently and regularly changes - from hairstyles to total wardrobe makeovers - depending on their mood.
Therefore, I vote 1.

The first one is much more beautifully put together and encapsulates the spirit of the show perfectly. The second one, on the other hand, is just.a bog standard cast shot with no imagination, one is much better.

Although I love love LOVE the second one, I'm gonna have to go with the first because 1. In the one with Lily and Rufus, well, it's just too overcrowded and 2. UGH! SCREW THAT! I VOTE THE SECOND. Lmao

umm.. just wondering, does the second one entail a colour scheme change? cuz that is much needed.
also second one has too many ppl... maybe use the original without rufus and lily (even though i love rufus)
