Kevin Zegers to Guest Star on Gossip Girl

The love life of Jenny Humphrey is about to get more complicated on Gossip Girl.

Kevin Zegers has joined the cast for a multi-episode arc later this fall as Damien.

Damien is being billed as an "international bad-boy." Sounds intriguing for Lil' J!

Zegers previously starred opposite Felicity Huffman in TransAmerica, and was recently seen in 50 Dead Men Walking and The Narrows, among other works.

He will soon begin production on The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.

Gossip Girl Spoilers: More on Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff

As we all know, Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff are coming to Gossip Girl next week. Today's TV Guide spoiler column has the latest on what we can expect then ...

Q: I can't wait to see Hilary Duff on Gossip Girl. Who will she have scenes with?

A: Who won't she have scenes with? I had heard that movie star Olivia Burke (Duff) would be rooming with Vanessa, but I had no idea she'd be romancing Dan and working with Serena. (Yes, you heard that right: working.)

But forget all that, if you're looking for an excuse to laugh louder than you ever have in your life, honest human emotion, wait until you see Duff and her fellow guest star Tyra Banks' virtuoso performances in Fleur.

That would be the film-within-the-show about, of course, the French resistance during World War II. Talk about Les Miserables!

Quite a lot of hype. Are you excited for Hilary and Tyra or no?

Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Lost Boy"

While you sound off in our Gossip Girl forum, our staff members analyze burning questions, classic quotes and scandalous moments from the past episode.

Welcome to the Gossip Girl Insider Round Table!

Hot Gossip Girl topics from "The Lost Boy" include memorable lines, foiled plots, the mysteriousness of Carter, the absence of J and future guest stars ...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
DANdy: Gotta show Gossip Girl herself some love here: Her closing line, about bringing everything back to the auction, was brilliant.
Gossip Guy: I suppose it wasn't a quote per se, but my favorite line goes to Chuck and his expression when Blair took off with his shoes. Classic talk-to-yourself moment: "She stole my shoes?"
Mister Meester: Georgina, on Chuck and Blair hitting it: "Judging by the size of the sock on the doorknob, I didn’t want to knock."
2. Who were you rooting for at the auction, Blair or Chuck?
DANdy: Serena's boobs. I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for them to bust out of that dress.
Mister Meester: Blair, because I wanted to see Chuck react after saying he couldn't be outbid, then losing to someone he can't really get mad at or plot revenge on anymore. The new dynamic of Chair as an item is great.
Gossip Guy: Definitely Chuck. Secret society shmiety. A boy has got to earn a living if he's gonna bring the bacon home to Blair.
Tuesday A.M. Gossip Girl Reality Index
One of our favorite weekly pieces of Gossip Girl media coverage has always been the New York Magazine plus-minus reality index of the previous episode.
We've posted our official episode recap of "The Lost Boy." Now here are some highlights from NY Mag's completely arbitrary yet uniquely funny analysis:
  • Of course Georgina and Dan would put a sock on the doorknob to indicate they were hooking up. College students just inherently know to do this. Plus 3, with an additional Plus 3 for Blair having no idea what this tradition meant. Oh, and Plus 1 for her putting her glove on to take the sock off.
  • Plus 2 for the slow dissolution of Dan and Georgina’s relationship, starting with Dan’s awkward conversation in which he explains that they're not an "us," they're just "hanging out." Plus 3 more for Georgina then pretending to be totally cool with this out of sheer desperation.
Charles Bass Picture
  • Someone should invent an iPhone app that allows you to speak like Chuck Bass. Like that “I Am T-Pain” app. No points. Just saying it would be cool. Even.
  • Vanessa goes straight to investigating Scott at the first hint of weirdness (well, other than his scary looks, statements, hair, and clothes). Minus 4 because Vanessa would delude herself for longer.
  • Really, why was everyone at the Sotheby’s auction? If Rufus wanted “everyone to be together,” as Dan said, why were Eric and Jenny not there? This whole scenario is just so absurd. Minus 4.
  • When Serena showed up at the Sotheby’s auction in a rust-colored skintight bandage dress that divides her cleavage into fourths, her hair teased so high that Bon Jovi could see it from Jersey, we had to wonder: Would Serena really come dressed like that to an adult event? Yes, she would. Plus 3.
