Meanwhile, Carter Baizen had his own smear campaign to fight off, which he eventually did ... only to learn that Bree Buckley is out to get him as well!

But I thought at the end Bree said "my family". If they were related wouldn't she have said "our family"???

Carter probably screwed them out of money and Bree followed him to New York, and if she was cut off with her family why is she driving around in a limo and acting like she is on their side.
