Hilary Duff on Gossip Girl: The First Promotional Picture

In any case, get ready for Hilary Duff in the October 5 Gossip Girl episode.
This promotional photo of Hilary Duff's character, Olivia Burke, is from the episode "Dan de Fleurette" (by our calculations the fourth of Season Three) ...
As many of us know, Hilary Duff's character is assigned to be Vanessa Abrams' roommate at NYU. You can see their dorm room in the photo above.
Through Vanessa, Olivia gets to know Dan Humphrey.
She becomes attracted to Dan, and vica versa.
The twist? Dan is so out of touch with popular culture that he doesn't realize the girl he likes is a big movie star from Twilight-esque vampire films.
Pretty typical of Dan, actually.

I can't say too much without seeing the episode, but I have go admit it will be hard to see Hilary as anything but a Disney show character. I wish GG would have chosen someone less...familiar.

Bloody hell, will everyone stop with the "fat" comments, already? I'm 100% sure if she was rail-thin, you guys will be just as biatchy. She looks perfectly healthy to me, and I think its great that she (along with Blake and other starts) are flaunting their curves.
I don't consider Hilary as a majorly good actress, but I think she's transitioning into more sophisticated roles, so I'm happy for her. She was on Law and Order: SVU last season, and she performed surprisingly well. So I'm going to be neutral and wish her all the best.

Maybe they'll to her do what they did to John Patrick Amedori aka Aaron.
And I'm a Dan/Geogie fan so no support for Dan/Olivia.
I do want to wait and see if she can be good on GG but let's face it she's Lizzie Maguire. She's typecast already. She has this sweet whiny voice, she definitely going to be the fish out of water. And her plot is stupid point blank.

Personally I don't believe hilary duff can act.
She is great for disney channel, but gg has the most talented cast
She is simply not good enough of an actress
However she is not fat, she's normal

haha, funny)) I like the story. I really dont know who the f* is Hilary Duff only heard her name a couple of times so no, she doesnt feel like too big a star for me.

she cant act for nuts!
and shes such a disney character its hard to take her seriously.
