The love life of Jenny Humphrey is about to get more complicated on Gossip Girl.
Kevin Zegers has joined the cast for a multi-episode arc later this fall as Damien.
Damien is being billed as an "international bad-boy." Sounds intriguing for Lil' J!
Zegers previously starred opposite Felicity Huffman in TransAmerica, and was recently seen in 50 Dead Men Walking and The Narrows, among other works.
He will soon begin production on The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.

Funny thing is, he used to be veru beautiful, actually. Now he is so fugly. And he is not talented, not a very good actor, but since it's GG we're talking about I guess it's fine...

This show seriously lacks drama at the moment. The extraneous characters need to play the roles of villains, causing conflict between our major players that we can forgive them for in the end, whilst the villainous extra is booted (a la Georgina). This guy... he's a former Lacrosse player, and Nate knows he's a jerk. He's using Jenny, controlling, maybe a little violent? Nate steps in and develops some romance with Jenny, and his motives are pure, but everyone else sees him as the bad guy. Maybe Bree helps engineer this, trying to hang on to her guy. Everyone is affected: Rufus and Dan are outraged! Dan and Nate's friendship is wrecked. Chuck steps in to help Nate and Jenny be together. Dan thinks Serena and Blair will help him, but they're secretly on team Nate/Jenny. Or maybe B. and S. disagree about it and work at cross-purposes. Most importantly, three couples (Nate/Bree, Nate/Jenny, and Jenny/newguy) get some torrid dramatic action.
Another way I'd like to see this go down is much simpler and better: Carter has a secret thing with Jenny while he's supposed to be dating Serena. Jenny/Serena step-sisters war could cause so much interesting drama. The explosive Blair/Chuck secret drove a season and a half of this show, and granted it was because the actors were superior, but we need more OMFG plotlines like this. All the characters have become so drab. Blair and Chuck need to become the manipulators trying to control their friends' lives in some way or other, and maybe butting heads in the process.

I will seriously HATE if they bring more random guest stars to date Serena or Nate. Don't care much about Jenny thou I think it would be nice to have some Chuck+Jenny affair but they have to give us Serenate, FGS!
