Serena was desperate to earn Lily's approval for deferring at Brown, while Blair was desperate to feel important again. It was a difficult road for both.

I thought this episode went back more to the roots of the series... GG finally showed up, drama with the social circle, and cute CB scenes while other storylines evolve.

This episode was so boring. Chuck and Blair were boring and that HS storyline was pointless. Blair is really annoying. I see no real chemistry between them anyway. I thought Dan and Nate were great in their scenes. Hilary as Olivia is terrible. She and Penn have little chemisty, and Penn has chemistry with everybody. Didn't miss Carter one little bit, he can stay gone for all I care. I thought Lily was annoying too. I did love Serena standing up for herself and getting a job, she was the shinning light of the whole episode. And what is up with no Dan and Serena scenes? That better have been a fluke.
