Below are TWO clips from next week's Gossip Girl, "How to Succeed in Bassness." As hinted in the earlier promos, Chuck wants nothing to do with Blair when he opens up his big hotel, although he does want Serena's help for publicity.

Awwww poor Blair, thats embarassing. Im thinking at the club, chuck finds out that blair did something to help promote the opening and then they make up!!

while C and S are busy with the club opening, maybe Nair can spend the nite out together so it will backfired to C! Lets see what he would do about that

It's a very conceivable idea. It's actually pretty smart of Chuck to exclude B from the business affair, seeing that he is still hurt and needs space, he wouldn't want to face and deal with the drama of emotionally-charged encounters when he should really be concentrating at the business at hand -- the club opening. So there is really nothing to worry about. B is still the fairest of them all in beauty, and C is still the fairest of them all in forgiveness.

um why does blair assume chuck is getting her a gift?? she did something chuck wouldn't have ever done to her, even back when he was all mean and bad. and she did it for no reason, and poor chuck!! blair shouldn't assume he'd want to make up with her at all, much less buy her a gift!!
but, im glad blair looks good again, and i love b+s scenes
i don't like blair now. she used to be one of my favorite characters because she always was mean/conniving with a heart, but i don't see the heart in what she did to chuck, that was just plain evil.
hope this episode is good though! i was hoping they would do a halloween one!!

serena: ...and i don't have time to think about it...oh! this is probably her calling now saying there's not enough chi in her chi-latte...hello?!
chuck: are you alone?
serena: chuck, hey!
(whispers to blair-) am i alone?
blair: its obviously about a gift!
chuck: (from speaker phone) serena?
serena: yes hi i'm here...sorry.
chuck: hotels that don't book over the holiday season don't make it to the next.
serena: i'm sorry are you in trouble? do you want me to call my mom, see if bass industries can help?
chuck: i don't want bass help, i want a publicist.
serena: okay, great! um...well i'll call Condeneste and Tablet hotels right away.
chuck: no, i no longer have time for the establishment to accept me, i need them to come begging. i want to open my club tomorrow. (then he says "the whole thing" or something like that but i can't really tell...)
blair: (whispering) see, my idea!
serena: okay, tomorrow, absolutely!
chuck: and serena, i don't want blair anywhere near this.
serena: okay, bye!
