please.... CHAIR have amazing potential, they're THE ONLY REASON i'm interested in GG and they are the only couple and characters with real depth on the show. i adore them and i don't want to see them (at least for a long amount of time) with anyone else. to me they're just meant to be. maybe that's something the writers are scared of?!
maybe they underestimate their viewers and are afraid they could outshine the whole show?
so they try out some stupid storylines to make them look more common and incompatibel...?
this sneak peak AGAIN is just stupid, blair's a smart girl and i don't believe that the character developement she went through in season 2 shows much constistency in this new season. the blair i knew wouldn't want to go back to high school to reign some kids, she matured. well, that's just my opinion. and for chuck i saw them as complices and not judgemental towards each other. so he should talk to her honestly and not schem wit jenny to "get her back to reality". what kind of dynamic is that?
well let's see what the next ep will really be about...

OH, COME ON, no one knew what was going to happen in 2x20. It was the big shocker and there was a big backlash from that. Savage had to give interviews to calm everyone down. The ratings started tanking after 2x16 which is about when they started screwing everything up.

we need new couples I don't like NB but DB would be good and I love Chuck and Vanessa ,Serenate need a chance too.
the last season finale had 2.24 viewers but 2.20 had 2.49 viewers that said it all

Agree so much with everything you said. I think we're seeing a lot of Blair sabotage this season. Having Serena and other characters shine does not have to mean ripping her down, but that seems to be what they're doing. Blair suffered constantly last season, and now they're just doing it again, only trying to make it comic. While some people here are clearly climbing on the bandwagon to bash her, many others are simply going to (and already have during season) stop watching the show.

yeahh it's good there focusing less on chair. they need to focus more on serena and NATE. but nate with someone else then stupid bree. we need more of like serena/carter dan/olivia and or hopefully a nate/blair/serena triangle!

well for those of you saying Chair is boring....maybe season 3 is not meant to be focused on Chair's relationship but maybe more on Serena's (her relationship is kinda boring too on season 2, so maybe its time to liven up her relationship!) GG is not a Chair show remember?

2.20 had 2.4 million viewers a lot better than some of the CB fulled epis so maybe the viewers that watch the show just for fun need new couples.
I think it was a bad idea put CB together ,they're not a Seth and Summer or Nate and Haley couple,they need the back and forth,the I love you but I can't be with dynamic I think that's why they lost the spark this season.

Ok I wonder if some people here are actually GG fans. Stop the Blair bashing she needs a wake up call and she's going to get one. This is new for her so baby steps. I highly doubt Ed and Leighton aren't getting along anymore and if that's the case now it wasn't when those episodes were shot since they were smiling and walking to set together not to long ago. Plus CB aren't having an affairs. As for GG not being a smash hit anymore let me remind you that the ratings are for TV. GG is in the top 10 most streamed shows. It's the only one from the cw that is in this top 10 with like smallville but it is behind GG! Because over here in europe, asia, etc we don't get season 3 so we have to watch it online. The network knows that! Otherwise the show would have been cancel along time ago. I mean come on just tell the name of another show from the cw who covers rolling stones, vogue, happer's bazzar, elle mag and so on. Right now the beautiful life and vampire diaries don't get this much buzz except in the states I guess.

At first, my heart sort of stopped because I thought you were adamant about it being Ed and Leighton. Then I noticed that it said 'blind item', and I'm so sure it's not Ed and Leight. First off, Ed adores Leighton, and the two are such great friends. Furthermore, Leighton is completely professional, and Ed says he loves her personality. The way the two act off-screen could never match up with what is said in that Ausiello post.
I'm thinking that little snippet could be about Penn and Hilary or Chase and Joanna. That would make much more sense.

IMO they're portarying Blair like this to make Serena shine as the star of the show she is or should be,the way they were writing Blair the last two season made her more likeable than Serena but now they're portrying Serena with flaws but with some amazing moments with a hot romantic storyline with great scenes and her clothes are awesome meanwhile Blair looks awful, her relationship is dull an her flaws are no longer adorable just anoying.

I've always heard Leighton is completely professional, so that blind item thing just doesn't ring true.
I don't like what they're doing with Blair's character at the moment, though I certainly don't think it should harm her relationship with Chuck! The fish out of water stories make sense, and even a regression back to highschool just to feel that sense of power and relevance? Okay. But this is Blair we're talking about! At the very least, she'd be striving for the straight A's still. Her dominance wasn't just social--she was also the all-around Good Girl on the surface. The logical progression is not towards skipping classes, but to ingratiating herself with the professors.
If we're going to have this kind of storyline with Blair, let's delve into actual depression. We've seen the eating disorder storyline. What happens when that girl loses control of her new environment? She's going to try to establish it some other way, but she also might be depressed, and that's a new thing for her to deal with.

Agreed Missy. Blair is best scheming and bitchy. With EVIL scaryness. Not this um, is she can snap and kill everyone and NYU scaryness (which actually wouldnt be so bad if we got to vote for the characters she got rid of) :s I LOVE Blair. But not Nair Blair. That 'relationship' was boring and so dull it was coma inducing. Chair have real chemisty and they are in danger of killing it with needy Blair.

While I do think she need a little maturing she hasn't been able to (damn you writers) transition from HS to College. I know some people who are the same way. It does take time.
Give Blair a sporting chance! The seasons still new.
And GG isn't a smash hit anymore *sadies* so it'll probably be another show... Plus everyone gets along on GG, so no scaldel to be found there
BTW does anyone know if they are still doing puppet parodies of GG like they did for last season?? I miss them :(

I liked CB in season 1 because Blair was different with Chuck,she wasn't the pathetic needy queen bee that she was with Nate but now Blair is acting needy and pathetic with Chuck too and she is also making Chuck so boring and whipped.
Chuch needs a real woman not a HS girlfriend.
