Below are some sneak previews for next week's episode of Gossip Girl, "Rufus Getting Married." Rufus is indeed planning to get married, as we saw in the network's initial promos, but we'll have to wait for wedding sneak peeks.
In the first preview clip, you will see Chuck making Blair moan with joy. Relax, people, he's just giving her a massage. Sorry to get your hopes up!
He's also talking to her about Nate and Serena's respective love interests, and how one may not be a saint, while the other may not be so evil ...
Follow the jump for a second clip, in which Vanessa tries to convince Dan to dump Olivia at the urging of a conniving Georgina, who coaches her.
It doesn't exactly work out as G might have hoped ...

I knew that, in a way, Blair will never be totally over Nate. She loves Chuck, of course, but she hates the idea of Nate getting over her. That's def one of the reasons she always hated Vanessa so much, CLEARLY.
This is a sign that the spoiler about she and Serena being frenemies again later this season maybe because of Nate. This season is having some vintage moments and Serenate can confuse Blair and bring the feeling of being betrayed back again by her friends back again.

It's not surprising that Blair might have trouble with Nate moving on. She's a very possessive person when it comes to the people she loves, whether platonically or romantically. A little part of her may want Nate in limbo, even as SHE has clearly moved on 100%with Chuck.
I can't imagine Blair EVER having the type of relationship Dan and Serena now have with any man she's loved. That is, being able to talk about their current boyfriends and girlfriends without any hint of jealousy. I can see Nate being able to do this because he has done it in the past and continues to do it now. But not Blair and not Chuck for that matter. (She and Chuck are so alike in that way - super possessive.)
On the other hand, maybe Chuck is wrong and Blair DOESN'T have an issue with Nate moving on but Chuck is still insecure about Nate/Blair. After all, Blair seemed to be "in love" with Nate for a very long time and she's always seen him as kind of a good guy, White Knight and the guy that could fulfill her UES fantasy. Chuck knows he (Chuck) is no good guy White Knight and thus can't give her those things. It'll be interesting to see whose right:
Chuck's POV: Bree's OK and Blair just hates to see Nate move on.
Blair's POV: Bree's a bitch and Chuck is still insecure about Nate.
I'm actually leaning toward Blair's POV because of the stuff she said about Carter. I think the writers see Carter as a reformed bad boy that's good for Serena. Plus I think Bree will turn out to be trouble and thus Blair's instincts will be spot on.

Agreed. Don't agree with the rest of the post thou. Any good Chair fan would say "Chuck's right because Chuck knows Blair better than herself and knows when her eyes are not matching with her mouth" or something, so I think he is right and she just couldn't tell him that he is wrong and that she doesn't care about Nate moving on, so, I think we should all deal with it.

Oh no, let me correct myself. Blair's instincts will be spot on because Bree's trouble and Blair's right, but we know by the synopsis that she will go to Nate to talk about Bree. She's worried, I think this is nice and very solid, I like to see the NJBC relationships being well explored.

Chuck and Blair are the best EVER!!!! Who cares about Nate? Blair certainly shouldn't..

Well, I think they BOTH could be right M.Archibald. Chuck is right in that Blair doesn't like seeing Nate move on but he's wrong about Carter/Bree and he's wrong if Blair is actually hung up on Nate. I don't think she is. She's just like I said - very possessive. She even gets that way with Serena sometimes. lol. Blair is right about Carter/Bree but she's lying to herself if she won't admit that at least part of the reason she hates Bree is because Nate puts Bree ahead of her in his life. She longs to be first with people.
By the way, that scene was pretty sexy. ;-)
