this is the first time i've been horrified by a leighton pic! (well...except this one http://fashioninsomniacs.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/leighton-meester-met-costume-institute-gala-2009-01.jpg) Leighton is so so beautiful (Taylor is too, but she ruins it by messing up her hair and piling on the makeup...and looking drugged out...) Red lips look great on her, but the eyes are awful! And I actually like the earrings, but the eyes and pale foundation ruin everything. (whoever said vampire was right, thats exactly what i thought!) yikes lets hope this doesn't happen again!

Oh Noooo!!! I love Leighton Meester and Blair is my fav, but this makeup is terrible! It is on par with Serena's recent icky ponytail phase.
Seriously, Leighton is beautiful without so much makeup; why does she do this to herself? Every girl who passed makeup 101 knows that the first rule of any look is always: choose to play up your eyes or your lips, not both! She is in dire need of a makeup artist who didn't once have a career as a circus clown. :(

As much as I love leighton, this look just doesn't suit her...props for taking a risk and always experimenting with your look though!! :)

I have yet to see ANYONE who can pull this off... smokey eyes calls for neutral lips, vice versa.

Her lips are killer as usual but,sorry Leighton the heavy eye make-up just doesn't work for me. She should stick with the more natural look.

Prefer Leighton with less make-up and not loving the red lipstick, although I know that's in for this fall. But her beauty always shows through! :)

She is beautiful but not the best look for her. And she is not just a pretty face, she has something different that sets her apart. Love Leighton!

WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH. No no NO! This doesn't look like a page from Taylor, this is a whole 'nother disaster. Blue smokey eye, seriously? Her lips look gorgeous, they remind me of her May 2008 Nylon shoot. But please Leighton, focus on ONE feature and keep the rest natural!

The gold cross earrings are tacky, but the lipstick and dark curls are very striking and beautiful.

Please. Even with a black plastic bag over her head, Leighton will overshadow Taylor on any given day. Some girls are just like that. The smile, the curves, the moves, personality, everything. In almost every scene on the show she has a slightly different look. There's something about her face, the lighting or how makeup works for her. I don't know how it happens, but she is a girl of a thousand faces, and all of them are pretty. She is not a regular 2 face joker.

If you're going for a smokey eye, you never leave the dark eyeliner out. If you do, you're going for a "i'm a abused spouse" look, seriously.
But the red lip is fierce.
